Olive Tree 'Olea europaea' Outdoor Fruit Tree in a 14cm Pot - 25cm in Height

I think it will take a long time to grow! But it's lovely, it was well protected when it arrived and hadn't been bashed about in transit. It had instructions with it, which was good. I've put in the sun in the window of the lounge and it's thriving.

This poor little plant arrived with multiple leaves brutally chopped in half - why? I can understand trimming and pruning but just to cut so many leaves randomly... no signs of new growth. Lots of leaf drop, so sad. I am hoping to nurture it back to health but i was saddened at how carelessly it had been treated.

Most of the leaves fell off after a couple of days, however there are new shoots appearing so hopefully all is not lost. I keep talking to it in encouraging words.

I chose this pair of olive trees for a Birthday gift for a Greek Cypriot family member, and it seemed like an unusual and different present.
