I bought this for my sister after she fell and cracked her shoulder blade. The hospital sent her home with a "one size fits all" sling, which didn't fit her at all. This sling comes in a couple of sizes, and medium was just right for her. The strap was placed in such a way that it didn't aggravate the injury, as the ER-supplied sling did. And it has a couple of helpful extras, like a belt to keep the arm close to your body and a thumb grip to keep your hand comfortable. Hope you never need it, but if you do, it's a good choice.

I have 3 fractures in my upper left arm and my arm has to be immobilized. I cannot lift my arm above my waist. After trying several slings, I find this sling to be the easiest one to take off and put on, even by myself. Other slings do not have a strap that dismantles and this one does which is a very important feature when you cannot maneuver a strap over your head or lift your arm.I am totally satisfied and completely happy with this sling. I highly recommend it to anyone who cannot raise their arm and is immobilized. Also, it is soft and cradles my arm nicely. The velcro tabs feel secure and there is no worry about release. I must have researched 12-15 slings and this was the only one that opened up completely like the one initially given to me at the orthopedic doctor.Buy it!

The main part of the sling is fine with nice support. However, the adjustment sliding buckle sits right at my neck. Even with the sliding padding the buckle is very uncomfortable. I don’t think I will be able to wear it. If you need a longer strap it might work for you but it doesn’t work for me even though it is adjustable.

I really love this sling, and it was shipped and delivered promptly. Watch the video that is included above in the product description photos; that tells you how to put the sling together.I would give it five stars if the straps were better. They're slippery and don't stay in place. It's an easy fix with some large safety pins. I pinned it, then sewed a couple of stitches to hold the straps in place. The arm is really supported well with this sling so I feel safe when I'm out in public and at risk of somebody bumping the arm. I am 5'8 and 155 lb, I bought the large. I might have gotten away with the medium but was concerned about strap length, I'd rather have too much strap than not enough.

The hospital gave me a sling that might have been a good fit for my four year old grandson. This sling is very easy to adjust to a proper fit for the proper support. It is very durable so it will be around for a long time should I ever need after my arm heals this time. I liked the little velcro strap that goes over the forearm because that is a good place to carry my cell phone so that it is easy to get to and the strap keeps the sling closed so that the phone cannot fall out.

Huge, scratchy, rough strap — spend an extra $5 and get something better.

I broke my elbow and the sling I got from the ER was flimsy and too big. This sling fit perfectly. The material is firmer than the one the ER gave me and that was much more helpful for supporting my elbow and wrist.

I had surgery and was on the fence about which sling to buy. Since I live in tropical weather it’s hot and humid most days. I thought having a sling on I would be miserable but this sling prove me wrong. It was cool and comfortable even in the blazing sun and I never had an issue with my neck being sore due to the comfort pad. Since I had lots of stitches I appreciated the fact that this was secured with the Velcro on the top. It was easy to get in and out of even when I was in pain. The bonus was the price. Honestly this made my recovery so much easier! I highly recommend this product.
