The best
We had one of these before and when it was time to get another one ( yes they don't last forever) we ended up with a horrible heater and actually threw it in the trash. The Hampton Bay is the best one out there in our opinion. Fires up fast, good heat etc. It is now put away since it's spring here in Arizona

Perfect for small areas
We’re pretty happy with this. Gives out sufficient heat for our 13’ x 8’ lanai. We did switch out the tank to an 11 lb one. Little tricky finding the proper hose and still would prefer one longer. Could only find a 4’Price is a little crazy as you can buy a full size one for about the same or less $$

Compact, easy to set up and go
Well packaged / protected. Was easy to use, and worked as promised. Made being outside at dusk just a little nicer; would recommend to others...

First of all this is not easy to assemble. The heater turns itself off every, few minutes, even following directions to leave it on low 5 min. still turns off even before 5 min. Not returnable so do not get stuck with itUpdate: I am not going to change my stars because I should not have had to do what I did. Since this was clearly broke and nonreturnable, I took the liberty of tying to fix it. I was able to but I had to take a cutoff grinding tool to remove two nuts that hold the thermo couple bracket and move it closer to the flame. That did work perhaps I got one that did not pass or have Quality Control. Since it now works I was able to see the one pound cylinders only last about an hour. so get the bigger tank and adapter hose.Good Luck and Stay Happy

Disappointed heat lamp
It's ok. Looks nice but a lil difficult to build. I need a heat lamp for my patio. Not a good heat source. Too expensive and now I'm still looking for a heat lamp, heat fan...anything to warm up my patio

Get the adapter hose for it so you can use a 5 gallon tank
It work perfectly i got it for my garage. The 1lb cans are a waste of time. I got the adapter hose to hook it up to a 5 gallon tank. We love it

Great buy
This works great for our covered patio where ceiling is too low for a full size heater. We put on a rolling table that can house the propane tank and boom we have a portable heater to move around!
