I attached these to a hardwood bookcase in my kid's room so he has a place to put his fishing rods where they don't get all tangled up or damaged. They fit perfectly! They did come with both long screws and long bolts, but I didn't use them because they were too long for the bookcase. It was a little tricky to find an extender for the drill so that I could reach the spot where the screws needed to be drilled, but I wouldn't say that you need to be extraordinarily handy in order to install there

Solid material, comes with mounting hardware. Used 4 to make a rod holder for the back of my truck. Works great.

Haven't had the boat in the water yet but I like the standoffs. Mounted 4 of them on the transom of my 14 ft boat.

Cheap garbage plastic. As soon as I screwed it in, the back part (screw hole area) breaks off. Tried it in another one of the screw holes in the same thing. Threw it in the garbage. Wasn’t even worth my time to get my money back.
