I had to look this up, glycyrrhetinic acid comes from licorice, so this might be why the smell is so unique. It's not a masculine or feminine smell, and I don't think it smells particularly like black licorice, but the smell is medium-strong and sticks around for a while-- whatever it is.As for dry skin / psoriasis, I can say it definitely helps. I've had a dry flakey scalp once or twice a year my entire life, and no over the counter product has helped so far- at least not long term.This however did start working and it did it quickly. I put it on last night, rubbed it into my scalp, and this morning I'm noticing far fewer flakes on my shoulders and my scalp doesn't itch as much anymore. It still itches but I hope that after a few days even that might go away.A little bit goes a long way, so don't go crazy with a bunch of sprays into your hair. It takes a while to dry and it's a little uncomfortable until it does.It says don't rinse, so I didn't. I would only do this at night before bed, or if I did it in the morning, I'd do it half an hour before washing my hair. I wouldn't want my hair to look matted down during the work day.If you're like me and nothing ever works on your scalp, give this a try.

Juniper fruit oil is the 6th item on the ingredients list. I cannot smell any of the Juniper, Thyme, Myrrh or even orange peel scent. It does not even taste sweet even though it is supposed to be 6% licorice root extract. What is going on? Why so fake?

This helps with itchiness. I had some hives I put this on and they quit itching.I'm not sure how to use this. I put some on my scalp in areas where I have a hard time with flaking and itching. It definitely helps the itchiness. It's a slightly yellow very watery serum, and it goes fast! After one application at least 1/5 of the bottle was gone. The labeling is mostly in Chinese and I'm not sure if I should use this product before shampooing or after, and I'm not sure if it's even meant to go on skin or if it's just for the scalp. It really does help itching this though so I think I'm going to save the rest of the bottle to put on hives when I get them!

This has cleaned my skin after each use like a facial scrub but I haven’t noticed any inflammatory improvements, Psoriasis or scalp improvements.

You spray this product on the affected area at least three times a day and whenever you feel itchy, according to the instructions. It feels soothing on the skin, and of course it has aloe vera, juniper berry and glycerin. My daughter has been using this daily and she says she notices a difference for sure and i think i can really see it because she used to have a few dry patches all on her face and they're gone now so i think it works fine! i think its a little small for nearly 30$ but honestly many beauty products can get pricey and especially if they work nicely! so i think it is worth the cost, i bet it would work between if you got the full set. The pictures are slightly misleading though because the entire back is in korean so you'll need to google translate for directions..... unless you read korean!

I have severe eczema on my scalp and ears.It’s so bad at times that water burns my skin.I’ve tried lots of creams and lotions, they always seem to burn.I figured this would burn as well.I was wrong.I used it and it didn’t irritate. It seemed to help stop the itch.It is very thin and will drip if not careful as it’s more of an oil than a cream.It has a light herbal scent that is tolerable.I am hopeful with more use, it’ll dry up my eczema.
