Brooks Men's Adrenaline GTS 21 Running Shoe

I am a nurse who had a desk job for the last ten years who decided to go back to patient care. I had the typical addidas and Reebok shoes and developed plantar fasciitis. I work with physical therapists throughout the day so I decided to ask them about which shoes they would recommend. A well respected therapy proceeded to tell me about what makes a good shoe; he recommended Brooks. I made sure to get a pair that would be a good investment for my feet and my 12 hr shifts so I purchased these! Let me tell you, I have never worn shoes like these...so comfortable and supportive. I literally have spring in my step! I’m just sorry it took me so long to find this brand. I read through some reviews about getting a half size larger than your typically wear. I am sorry I did because the shoes are 1/2 size too big. They are still wonderful to wear so I am keeping them but would have preferred a better fit. My foot pain is not gone because I’ve only worn them for two shifts but my pain has improved. So, treat yourself to a nice pair of shoes, it is totally worth it!

I love brooks, I buy them for running. I get a new pair once to twice a year! They hold up great and feel great on my feet!

I've worn adrenalines for many years and the line continues with another good shoe. Very comfortable, supportive, but not too heavy.

Brooks adrenaline shoes provide excellent support and comfort. The design and color is exactly as pictured. I especially like the heel height, and stability.The shoe is exactly as described by seller, and it arrived three days early.

This model of Brooks shoe is beautiful and offers so many colors from which to chose, but the quality just isn't there. I took one look at them out of the box and decided to return them. The material is just flimsy. They don't appear to be much different than the pair of Brooks Ghost shoes that I bought a few years ago. The softness and cushioning are there, but the material at the toe box is loose and thin; and the sides of the shoe don't have much for reinforcement that would indicate to me that they are supportive in any way. My very first impression is that my big toe would bust through the material in a few months and the material would tear at the side from the sole in under six months. I bought my mom some Brooks Glycerin shoes, which appear to be superior to these. They offered better support and cushioning. We also have Asics Kayano-Gel 27 shoes, which ended up being a better buy, with regard to the quality of materials and support. These shoes would be great for comfort and walking, but I wouldn't run in in them if I had stability issues and I wouldn't count on them to last.I thought I would update my experience with these shoes. Every shoe guru out there keeps recommending these for my particular foot shape and stride, so I tried a different pair of Brooks Adrenaline shoes and gave them a few days of wearing. For some reason, Amazon won't let me leave more than one review for each shoe purchase, so I will add my experience here. I cannot even wear these shoes for half a day, because they make my feet tired. I think the cushioning is too mushy and it makes walking in them fatiguing. No amount of adjusting the laces improves this. I tried to tighten the shoe down with the laces to get a better response to movement, but it just made the cushioning put a sort of back pressure on my feet. They are just uncomfortable after a few hours. All the shoe gurus say that this is the shoe for me. I'm supposed to want a lot of cushioning and a little support, because I tend to supinate, but these shoes are not very responsive to movement. Even the top materials are soft and mushy. I just find them so fatiguing. I have had a few pairs of Brooks Ghost shoes and they work much better for me. I love my new Ghost 14 GTX shoes, but they are a much firmer. The cushioning is their, but it is stiffer. Both the sole and the materials are more firm and more responsive to movement. I find that they offer better support, although that is not what Brooks claims.

Have loved brooks for years. I have started ordering past years color choices for a pretty good savings. Brooks fit small so size up. I wear an 8.5/9 and have always had to get the 9.5. But it fits like a glove. I get a new pair every year to train for a mini marathon. They never disappoint!

These shoes are exactly what my doctor had prescribed for my feet. I don't have any pain when I walk and it's very comfortable. I love these shoes!

I have this Adrenaline GTS 21 in Black/Black size 7.5 and its my favorite shoe. So I wanted the white one as well. All they had was the 7.5 Wide. They wanted $289.99 for the exact shoe but in white. I was stupid and ordered it in the 7.5 Wide thinking it wouldn't be that much difference. Will I don't have a Wide foot. To big. Plus I thought what a Rip Off the Original Price of this shoe is $129.95. Thats what I paid for my Black/Black pair. This shoe was almost three times what I paid for the Black/Black. Someones Being Greedy. This shoe in Black/Black and White are always sold out. Its a Very Popular Brooks shoe. So I woke up and said. It's to Big, Wide and the cost is RIDICULOUS. What was I thinking. Looked on line and a shoe store in Wisconsin called Eastbay Shoes carries the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21 in all colors. But of course the White in 7.5 is out of stock. They want the Original price for it as well $129.95 plus Free Shipping and Free Returns. So I'm just keeping a eye on it every other week to see if they have it in stock yet. I really like this shoe. It is so comfortable and fits true to size. I Highly Recommend this Brooks Shoe. But nothings worth three times the cost. So I'll just be patient and order it once it's back in stock.

I bought these for work. I work 8 to 12 hour shift in long term care. I have arthritis in my knees and have suffered from extreme foot pain in the past. After trying several brands (Saucony, Nike, Asics...) these are truly the very best I have ever had on my feet. After 3 months of wear I am still singing their praises. I'm buying another pair!!!The extra wide was roomy for my wide feet but as my feet swell through the shift, I get ZERO discomfort from my shoe.I never want to be without these.

I purchased this for $211.99. Upon return, I received a refund for $158.98. I just received another notice that an additional refund of $32.22 will be applied. NOWHERE, when I purchased, was I made aware that the refund would NOT BE IN FULL. I expect $211.99 refund. Had I known my refund was not going to be complete, my actions for returning would have been different. I expect the additional $20.79 refund.

The shoes are excellent for running, but the border destroys very fast and they do not last very much.
