Great for sensitive digestion.
My ferret was having issues with diarrhea with another "high quality" food brand... then I realized that although mostly organic, the first ingredient was still a protein "meal". I switched to this, he loves it, he avoided eating thr other at first. Not only does he love it, but the diarrhea has stopped. He's only been on it for a few days, but so far I'm very pleased. Only downside is that he loves it so much he's flying through his first bag and at $50 a bag, he's become a pricey addition to the family.

Love it
My ferrets love this food they’ve had trouble with weight in the past now they’re healthy chunky babies. My senior who was dying is now active again. Highly recommed. Though expensive the quality and ingredients are amazing.

Your ferret might not like it..
like other reviews read, great ingredients, but smells not great, ferret doesnt seem to want to eat it, when hydrated even after 10 minutes pellets are foam like and hard to break apart. Trying to see if I can get my ferret to even try it / slowly work him up to it but not very hopeful :/ Will update if my ferret warms up to it and ends up loving it but right now he's only been eating the the chicken hearts I got from this same brand.

He loves it
I mix this in with my ferret's other food. Before this I only had to refill his bowl once a week, adding this he's up to 2 to nearly 3 times a week. And my ferret saddly has cancer due to all the crap other companies put in their food that ferrets can't/shouldn't have. I wish I found this product 6 years ago when I got him, maybe Gir wouldn't have cancer now. My only complaint is I have to smash/ cut up the pellets due to them being rather large. But I'll gladly do that if it means he has his appetite back.

PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK or a LOT of money is wasted if your ferrets don't like it!!
PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK! We always search for high quality foods and treats for our ferrets. Looking at the ingredients of this item we were very impressed. However, and this is a HUGE problem, if your ferrets do not like the product, regardless of how good it is for them, you just wasted $50. I wrote the company an email explaining that our ferrets won't even touch their product and basically they said that was a possibility and was not their problem. So to be clear.....There is a no return policy AND, if you read the fine print, they even state that if your ferrets do not like their product, it's not their fault and refunds are NOT available (or similar such verbiage).

6 ferret approved!
Honestly, they didn't like it at first. Ferrets are like that though. They take time to get used to new foods. I kept introducing it and now it is their favorite! I mix multiple ferret foods and this one is always the first picked out of the batch. They are great as treats too. I love knowing my purchases support a small USA company as well.

My ferrets like it.
My ferrets are picky so I thought I'd try this freeze dried food. They seem to like it, the only thing I do not like is the price!
