1. PC WILL NOT BOOT IF HARD DRIVE CONNECTED. IT FREEZES AT STARTUP. IT MUST BE CONNECTED AT BOOT IN ORDER FOR CERTAIN SOFTWARE TO SEE IT AT STARTUP.2. CERTAIN PROGRAMS COMPLETELY WIPE ITS MEMORY OF THE DEVICE BEING CONNECTED EVERY TIME I RESTART AND THEREFORE DOES NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY.SSD DRIVES DO NOT WORK LIKED TRADITION HDD DRIVES.UPDATE:VERY SOLID DRIVE FOR BACKING UP FILES FOR ARCHIVING.

works great, is pretty fast. I love it's small size, easy to transport. Only thing I didn't like is that the included USB cable is so short, it's really annoying I can let the HD sit on the keyboard or on the laptop as I'm backing it up. other than the fact that the HD doesn't come with a hard case I don't have more complaints. I got it for 147 and it's going for cheaper now. I recommend buying 2 so you have more than just 1 backup. You never these days.

This lil hard drive is AMAZING. Straight out the box it’s ready to use. It’s Formatted in ExFAT format. I plugged it into my MacBook Pro M2 laptop 💻 & it picked up immediately. Transfer speed: It took about 2hrs 37mins to transfer over approx 40,000+ songs. I started at 10:10a & finished 12:47pm. That’s a lot of songs iykyk. It copied aprox 379.16 gb that quickly. My 1TB thumb drive took over 4 hrs for the same transfer.While plugged into the computer I didn’t hear any noise. It’s very quiet. It comes with the tiny drive a USB-C to USB-C plug & a USB-C to USB-A adapter for older computers or ones with no USB-C ports. For those saying it’s not truly 2TB, straight out the Box it had 80.7mb used. I’m guessing that’s the security software for Mac & Windows computer. As you can see in the pic I still had 2TB BEFORE copying 40,0000+ songs STILL left me with about 1.62 TB available.During the 2 hour transfer it was warm. Definitely not hot, but warm as expected.This is a great value for the price because I saw another retailer sell the 1TB for around this same price. This drive can definitely store 2TB! (See pics)Oh & I plugged it into my iPhone 16 Pro Max & it picked up immediately. You have to make sure you hear/feel that “click” when you plug it in. My husband has an Android phone Galaxy S25 & it picked up immediately on his phone also. Def a WIN!I haven’t plugged it into my iPad Pro 12.9” yet but if it works on my phone & my Mac I’m sure I’ll have no problems.I plan to carry this with me at ALL times since it can hold so much music. The only thing is I wish it would have come with is a carabiner clip. I got one & hooked it to it.
