I have tried other things to help with sleep. This one works. Taken before bed, I stay asleep longer and feel more rested.

So on the bottle it says do not take more than three a day. It really helps with falling asleep and staying asleep. I mean my doctor told me that this would help with stress reduction. But you know what? You have lots and I mean lots of receptors in your brain. The Gaba receptors are for pain and stress management. If you are not getting enough in your food most likely your not really. Or lets say your on a prescription like benzodiazepines for six years for cervical Dystonia? Look that up its very rare. And it is extremely painful. So benzodiazepines are prescribed for anxiety most of the time. But they are prescribed for other neurological conditions. But I cut my benzodiazepine in take down in like more that half in 6 months. I blame it on the GABA pills. I want to say I took two at night. It fills your Gamma and Kappa receptors. And your pain threshold is much better. I was even on heavy pain kills. I cut those from 90 to 75 a month. I live with palliative care because of my conditions. I know they will ultimately leave me dead. But I do not worry. I just don't. I know in some way my pcp doctor when she talked to me about GABA and this brand, I trust her. And she was right. It did kill agitation, anxiety and lots of pain.I know vitamin companies are just as skilled with this as pharmaceutical companies. But part of me is then why don’t they work with the FDA? I think its not a black and white answer. Most drug companies are obligated to work with them. But a lot of good vitamin companies have their own quality control. And when you work with the FDA most likely some of the head people are CEOs of major pharmaceutical companies. You pay a good fee for membership. Then if something goes bad with the med itself its you have protection with our government to maybe cover up lawsuits and deaths. Vitamin companies when they do this and get people sick its their company on the line. Or it does not work then you don’t get people buying it. Anyway there is not that much of s free market to keep prices down on pharmaceutical companies. 4 large companies can make a drug price sky rocket when there are a lot of free market for vitamins. The price is not that much.

I've tried many other products, some quite expensive. But this one actually works much much better with no side effects. Works rather quickly and gives me a deep sleep. Very affordable!

The product definitely has a good amount of potency. I took one a couple hours before bedtime, and could not go to sleep. After 10 mg of melatonin, and several hours later, I finally fell asleep and did not sleep good.I opened a capsule and dumped 3/4 of it out and gave that one to my mom. She could not go to sleep.Seems to have had a reverse effect on both of us.

It worked on me, I’m 83 and was having a hard time getting to sleep and staying asleep. On one of the reviews I read it helped a man sleep. I took 2 capsules at 8 pm, and an hour later I started feeling relaxed and sleepy. Thanks for your reviews.

It makes me tingly in a similar way to when taking beta alanine before a work-out, and makes my heart beat weird and make me feel shortness of breath, like the onset of a panic attack.I am not blaming the GABA, but just saying that my body reacts that way to it. I still take it because I like how it makes me feel after the initial scare, so I power through the experience.It really makes me feel like the air I'm breathing is not doing anything, so my heart starts racing and I start panicking inside. I just took it 20 minutes ago and I'm still going through it, but it'll be over soon.I hope this stuff doesn't prematurely unsubscribe me from Heartbeat & Co. if you know what I mean. 😅

Please be advised- this is 1,000 mgs PER capable. I’m accustomed to taking another brand, at a slightly lower dose. 750 mgs was my previous dose.This upping in dose made me feel quite unwell… dizzy, nauseous, cognition very spacey the NEXT day. Just be advised!!
