I was afraid to order this because I live in South America and it flew all the way to my country. I decided to give it a try and I coudn't believe that it arrived in perfect condition!, the glass is neat and the bullet holds pretty good. I gave this to my husband as a present and he just loved it!

Pricey, but a very clever novelty gift and conversation piece. Yes, it holds liquids just fine and does not leak. My only reservation is that if the partly embedded bullet is bumped, it could crack or shatter the glass. That could be a safety issue, but probably would only destroy the glass. If one is careful, that should not happen Interesting that the bullet chosen is a .308 cal. boat tail shape. That is a bullet that a hunter would use. The bullet is still nearly the same as a 7.62 mm NATO bullet, so if you want a gift for a Marine, soldier or a hunter, this tumbler might be a good one.
