Pre K book exchange
Bought this book for my son to take into his pre k book exchange. We ended up reading it 4x before he gifted it. Cute story and perfect for a Dino lover.

Great book for kids. Would buy again.
My children love these books. They are very simple, but address important focus areas for children and parents. We were very pleased with the high quality hard cover we purchased and would by again.

A little more negative than most of this series
My 18 month old son loves this book. I'm not sure why, except that it has school buses in it. It doesn't seem like he would relate to most of it. And it seems that a school-aged kid who is old enough to need or understand the lessons about sitting still in class, not interrupting, not pushing on the playground, etc. isn't going to be fooled by putting that advice into a story. Also, in contrast to the other books in the series, which are more balanced in what not to do and what you should do instead, this one is 90% negative. I'm not sure I will read it to my little boy as much as the others (if he will let me get away with that), because not only does it keep on with negative after negative, it is talking about SCHOOL in a negative way. It makes it seem as though school is a place where you can't do all sorts of things and there are only limited things you CAN do. I'm not sure why the book turned out this way, if there were too many good ideas for rhyming things you shouldn't do, or not enough of the right words to make more shoulds at the end.In spite of all this, the illustrations are great and the rhyming is clever, as always. I'm not sure what "chalk talk" in the classroom is, but hopefully that is something the kids will know. Cute book - kids always love books about school. And I think my son probably likes this one because he loves the others in the series so much!

Hilarious!
Reading this to my baby. He loves the bright contrast images and the illustrations are equally hilarious for us adults. Cannot recommend enough.

Misbehaving and well-behaving dinochildren
Another favourite of my kiddos, and mine.It is impossible not to love the idea, the rhymes and the detail of the drawings. Naughty and polite children pictured as dinosaurs. Pretty accurate!

Not too sure about the content
Not too sure how I feel about this book. First half of the book shows the 'don't' behavior that supposed to demonstrate to the reader that this type of behaviors are bad. Then proceed on the second half of the book that shows all the proper behaviors. My boy seems to love the book and the dinosaurs so much that he would just do everything that are shown on the book.It is a fun book. Parents should just take some caution of how you would want to teach your children about the improper behaviors in the book.

Wowsers!
Love this picture book!It takes the child through the entire day at school in a light-hearted and reassuring way.If your child is about to start school and you're both scared about it, get this book to comfort and reassure you both.I bought this for my lil nephew who is starting primary school in September and he loves dinosaurs, so I reckon he'll love this book... maybe have a read of the first page with the names of all of the dinosaurs to make sure you can pronounce them all before you share it with your child though... I can only pronounce the Diplodocus dinosaur lol Maybe you could encourage your child to teach you how to pronounce each of them to send their self-confidence soaring?A definite must-read for all those children who are starting Reception or Year 1 to help them feel more at ease on their first day!
