KnitPal 24-Inch Circular Knitting Needles Set of 5 | Stainless Steel with Flexible Cords | US Sizes 4–8 (3.25–5mm) | Strong, Smooth, Ergonomic Design

My set arrived yesterday. I was finishing a balaclava mask on another circular needle. I switched to the matching size from this set of needles. I really like the way the needles work. I found no irritating 'burs' on the needles, they are smooth and easy to work with. This is the first time I've had the steel cable. It is a little different but is working fine. I am happy with the slight curve at the end of each needle as it connects with the cable. The photos didn't make that clear for me. I ordered the 24-inch length and I'm glad I didn't go any shorter. My old circular needles are all around 29 to 30 inches. I appreciate the case to keep them in. I worry about the tangle that I have to fight when trying to corral all of my other circular needles! There are more pockets in the case than there are needles in this set.Edited: I've added a photo of work with the needles. This project uses the size 2/3 needles. I ordered this set for the smaller sizes which I didn't have. The sizes are slightly different than sizes on older needles. Size #2 in my old needles is a #3 on the gauge. I seem to have two of the size 2/3. One does have a rough space on the cable, but not enough to be a deal-breaker. I am glad I have two of that size, though. I do not know which size is missing, but it must be one of the larger sizes. That situation isn't going to cost a star. I would use stainless steel needles with the steel cable again for the larger sizes if I needed more. (I have several old circular needles in sizes 6 and up and will be fine)EXTRAS: The little gauge is wonderful. I've been off on the estimate of needle sizes! I was working with a #6 and thought surely it was a #4! I may have two #5, but that's okay. I really wanted the really small sizes.The little markers are nice. I've been using this type for a while. (I much prefer to just use a small piece of different colored yarn as a marker). These will work fine. The colors are bright and easy to find when they fly off! The sewing needles are different in size and shape from any I've used before. I haven't tried them, but the smooth bodies should work well. I haven't found the handmade tags yet but will check out the little card telling about the knitting group. Edited: The knitting group is really nice.The 17-page beginner knitting booklet comes in PDF format in an email. It looks great and I'm going to find it useful for my beginner knitting friends.I'll try to add pictures of work later. I would certainly buy again.

At first I was surprised by how light weight these are. The needles are hollow. I really love this feature! I also really, really like the fact that I am only getting sizes I use on a regular basis. I have 8mm. and 10mm that I bought elsewhere as part of my Clover set.This set contains 3.5, 3.75, 4, 4.5 and 5mm. I tested them on my guage guide and they fit perfectly. That's all you need for sport - worsted weight yarns.The cables are solid. The joins are smooth, for the most part.All these reviews talk about beginners but I am an intermediate knitter, with an expensive interchangeable set and these are almost as good, minus a tiny bit of catching on one join on one single needle. But even if knitting a sweater body, I don't notice.I have a set of all three lengths because the price is so good. Sometimes I need metal needles and these are as good as amy expensive set.

For being a pack with several different sizes, I think this was a great price! They work great. They don't have labels on them with the size, but that's not a big deal. I checked the sizes with a gauge tool and noticed that some of the needles aren't the right size, but actually in between two sizes---unlike what it says in the title and description. Oh well, they're close enough that it still works.

Great needles

Pros: For the price, these needles are not bad. The cable is coated and the joint between the needle and cable is smooth. So far, they work and I am not worried about them falling apart.Cons: I was expecting to get US needle sizes: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. I received US needle sizes 3, 5, 6, 7, 8. Also, the 5, 6, 7 needles are all on the small side. None of the needles are labeled; I measured them.So, if you are concerned about gauge, then do not buy these needles. I would agree with other reviewers that these are fine for beginner knitters or those unconcerned about gauge. They are serviceable but not high quality in terms of size/quality control. They will work for my project, but I should have listened to the other reviews about needle size.

Finally got some 120cm needles after getting tired of moving sweaters to scrap yarn to try on. It’s so nice now that I can try it on anytime with ease! No snagging etc… and they are more blunt tipped than my others. Not sure how I feel about that yet. I like a finer tip to help get between fibers here and there when needed but overall these are great.

It is easy and pleasurable to knit with these circular knitting needles! I have had some knitting needles injure my fingers because their points are so sharp. These knitting needles work much better. They pick up stitches easily but do not cut into your fingers. I love it that this set includes 5 different sizes of knitting needles, too.Please note, however, that these circular needles really are 16 inches long. That is not very long when you are knitting in a circle. Please purchase needles in a length that is appropriate for your knitting project.

It is smooth and of good quality but the sizes of the needles are not mentioned hence a problem!

Livraison rapide! J’ai commandé les aiguilles le lundi et le vendredi suivant , je les recevais. C’est surtout le prix de ces aiguilles qui a attiré mon attention... Après avoir lu les commentaires, j’ai commandé. J’ai acheté 2 ensembles de 24 po, car je tricotes très souvent 2 chaussettes en même temps. Le tricot glisse très bien sur l’aiguille sans blocage où se trouve le joint entre le câble et l’aiguille. Le câble n’est pas trop rigide et ne tord pas. Les tailles ne sont pas inscrites... par contre il y a un knitting gauge avec l’ensemble. L’étui est fragile mais c’est un détail car c’est le rapport qualité/prix de ces aiguilles qui est important.
