Installation Tips - wall installation
I just installed it and it is working great! It is pretty quiet and smooth. There are a few tricky parts to install it. Here are a few tips: 1) Definitely watch the video, and pay particular attention to the direction of the wheels of the carrier wheels when you are running the belt through the track. The written directions are barely readable, they should probably just leave them out. 2) The video did not show wall installation (hopefully they'll update it), and the manual I had did not have anything except one statement in the ceiling install directions that wall installation is "similar." That was one of the most frustrating parts, mainly because the tiny bolts needed to attach the two brackets had fallen out of a hole in a bag and I didn't find them until I looked under the packing material. I figured it out after I found the bolts. I submitted a "problem" and asked for wall installation directions and to their credit, the company responded pretty quickly with the attached photo. 3) If you have a phillips screwdriver with a magnetic tip, that is super helpful to help hold the tiny little screw in place and insert it through holes in the brackets. 4) Don't plug in the motor until after you have set up the remote and paired it with the Tuya app. You have to push a tiny little button on the bottom of the motor for all the pairings, and for the Tuya app, you need to move the motor pretty close to the router for it to pair. You also have to use your 2.4gb wifi instead of your 5.0gb wifi, and I think you have to have your phone on the same wifi network as you select for the app.

Overall impressed
1. Be sure to add 15" to window opening dimension or your track won't allow a full opening due to curtain pile up. 2. Watch the videos for assembly repeatedly. The manuals provided are not nearly as helpful and the print can only be viewed with a magnifying glass ( in my case anyway). Honestly I went step by step following the video and assembly went well. The opener is very quiet and fluid in motion. I followed another reviewers advice and paired the remote first before connecting to the app. The quality of materials used is impressive. The track is extruded aluminum. The motor is quiet when operating, actually I don't even hear it. The whole system is light in weight but very sturdy. The main reason I purchased this curtain opener is to automatically close the curtains using the app program at a specific time in the afternoon to prevent heating of the room from the summer sun but also to close the curtains by 5:30pm during the winter. I like the curtains open most of the day in winter to get that little bit of heat from the sun but when summer rolls around it's too much heat in the afternoon. The program is a great feature while I'm away at work. I'm looking forward using the Smart Curtain System on the large bay window at my home and even if I'm late coming home I know the curtain will be closed when I arrive after dark. Now to find a new set of curtains without grommets!

Great Quality Once You Get It Set Up
I bought the Homesupplier Smart Curtains (13 ft rod) and overall I’m really happy with them. The instructions were definitely on the confusing side, so it took a little patience to get everything assembled and connected. But once it was up and running, the quality really stood out. The rod is solid, the motor is surprisingly smooth and quiet, and it works perfectly with Alexa/Google Home. Now I can open and close my curtains from my phone or by voice, which is exactly what I wanted. If you’re comfortable taking a little extra time during setup, the end result is absolutely worth it. Great product!

Surprisingly Convenient – I Didn't Realize How Much I Needed This!
I didn’t realize how much energy I spent every day thinking, "Did I close the curtains?" until I got the HomeSupplier Smart Curtains. It’s such a small, often overlooked part of the home, but this simple upgrade has honestly changed the way I move through my space. The convenience of being able to close the curtains with a tap on my phone, or even just by setting a timer via the Tuya app, is one of those things that feels a bit futuristic, but incredibly normal once you’ve experienced it. No more reaching behind couches, climbing over things, or arguing about whose turn it is to get up and close them. Now, I can be lying in bed, half-asleep, and still have control. It sounds trivial, but it’s the kind of convenience that quietly improves your day-to-day life. The rod length (16.4 ft) worked perfectly for my large window setup, and I love that it's adaptable to different curtain weights. Setup was surprisingly easy, and the WiFi connection has been pretty reliable. It's also a great conversation piece whenever we have people over and it closes on its own. Would I call this a necessary home purchase? Probably not. But I would definitely call it a worthwhile one, one of those little luxuries that adds quiet joy and simplicity to your life in a way you don’t fully appreciate until you have it.

Great smart curtain track
Works great and very easy to set up with your smart home. The motor is quiet and material seems very sturdy. Just make sure the tracks are aligned and the belt is tight.
