These are supposed to be ultra premium needles in premium packaging. They came in a plastic tube (not glass, as I’ve seen advertised). I bought them to see if they live up to the hype. They seem about the same as any decent needles. These certainly aren’t worth twice the price.I did a side by side test in the same fabric & threads using several different needles, and Bohin needles were by far the best. They just glide through Aida much more smoothly.If you’re looking for needle storage tubes, the Dritz needle storage tubes are actually better - they’re also plastic, but they have a handy magnet inside and come with a wide variety of labels to use.

My original purchase of these was through a needlepoint store and I lost them during a move. I was very happy to find them on Amazon... best ever needles. Glide thru canvas with no effort.

Superb quality needles and delightful packaging, with a brochure that explains the history of the factory. Amazing tools that are a joy to work with. If you cross-stitch treat yourself to these!

I bought these needles hoping they would last, halfway through the project the needle I was using lost its coating and began to rust. Pretty packaging, but I would not buy again.
