bought to pull cars not running up on a tow dolly---works well and pulls pickup's and cars with ease--came in as promised and packed well--appears to be well built with 9 months of use

Used for a trailer winch to pull trailer out of the water. Just installed the winch so I don't know how well it will hold up.

I purchased the winch at a discounted price “due to cosmetic damage”. However, said damage was actually “corrosion and wear” consistent with it having been installed and used, for some time. Given the discounted price and the fact that it was mechanically sound, I accepted it. I am however a little surprised that someone would return an item after having definitely installed and used the product.DR

once installed try to unroll all the line and roll back in will be more secure while pulling out from water

We bought this to pull our pop up camper into the garage. We attached it to a poll that is cemented into the floor and it worked beautifully! My 11 year old daughter did it for part of the time while we were guiding it through the narrow single garage door.

Very well constructed, at a great price. Because I purchased it for use on a small boat trailer, did apply a coat of paint on the various metal moving parts before installing, due to the seawater conditions.

Would not order again noisy and cheaply made. THE strap is not heavy enough. Wasted my money on this. I had to install anyway my old one broke. Fortunately for me it is just used for holding my boat on the trailer not winching up on the trailer. IF you have to do a lot of pulling and winching order a different one. You get what you pay for and it was inexpensive. So what was i thinking?

To load a small boat. Material gears are made of are cheap steel, does not crank smoothly.
