Dell S2421HS 24 Inch Full HD 1080p, IPS Ultra-Thin Bezel Monitor, Silver, Black

Frankly, not much of a review of the screen itself because it's perfect. Might as well be a photograph. I do note the viewing angle is so wide that it has no color or picture shifting even when you look at it totally from the side edge on. I do stream video sometime on it (Amazon Prime Video, NetFlix, etc.) and I might as well be watching a TV. I Don't use it for gaming (I don't do shot 'em ups or GTA stuff) so can't comment about that. Specs look good, but gamers are super hard core about bleeding, ghosting, etc. so no opinion there. I will say that blacks are very black, which is good, not the funky dark brown/green/blotchy/yuk stuff.I had a SE2717H (prior model of this one) that died after being on 24/7 for over two years. My other SE2717H is going strong and right next to this one. Picture is awesome, I love the IPS screen and I can work all day on it with no eye strain. IPS is all I buy anymore for myself or recommend to others. There are slightly better technologies out there now, but not for the money, especially MY money.

Works well for my home office, easy to see text, nice and bright, and good color filters for lowering amount of blue light.75hz capable as wellThe stand can be adjusted, but is not very tall. I would have it set on something a bit higher up than your desk, but the screen can also be tilted upwards.

This is a great entry/mid level monitor. I have no issues with this and like that it the monitor swivels both left and right and and be positioned vertically. The image quality and responsiveness is extremely quick with no glitches. I use this as an extended monitor display for work and for personal use in photography, surfing the web, working in Excel and its great. Not flimsy at all, the stand is functional and stylish which does not make it an eye sore.

I bought this for working remotely and it works great! I wish the vertical adjustment was a little more but overall it is simple to set up and the picture quality is great. It is also lightweight and mostly plastic. I was worried about the quality at first but I think it is good overall. It did the trick to give me additional screen space/real estate and helped with my ergonomic setup so I did not have to strain to look at a tiny laptop screen.I paired this with a wireless keyboard and ergonomic mouse. It is working out well for me!I would buy this again for the affordability and the decent picture quality. I am not using this for videos or gaming so I cannot speak to that.

I lucked out getting this when it was half off! I was on a 10 year old Dell monitor, and figured it was time to upgrade. Dell makes very good monitors.One thing I immediately noticed was that the monitor shows TRUE white. A lot of monitors have a yellowish tint to the white. It's also BRIGHT, and the colors pop. I'm visually impaired, and this has helped enormously.I'm really not a gamer, but Netflix and Hulu look amazing!Two notes. Firstly, check the advanced display settings in Windows. By default, it'll often use 60hz. Bump it up!Secondly, it DOES NOT have speakers. It has a headphone pass through.I'm thoroughly satisfied.

Used for 2nd monitor web surfing. Great picture quality and brightness. Attractive looking monitor overall with very slim outside edge/bezel. Would buy again. Can’t speak to how it would perform as a gaming monitor though.

Excellent picture quality! Very satisfied. Using as a third monitor in my basement office. VESA mounted with the VIVO desk mount.Note that there are two variations of this monitor. I purchased the S2421HS model, which does not include speakers, but does include a display port as well as a HDMI port, plus adjustable stand.The other version of the monitor, the S2421H model, features speakers, but no display port, two HDMI ports, and fixed stand.

Upgraded my home office and got two of these Dell monitors along with a Dell D3100 unit which connects to my laptop via USB 3.x and allows me to connect three additional monitors. My old Inspiron 5559 works just great with all three items. Monitor pictures are sharp and crisp. The height adjustment along with the tilt is extremely nice to get just the right view. Thin bezel is excellent. No regrets.
