eBoot Gamepad Charger for Wii U, AC Adapter Wall Power Charger for Nintendo Wii U Gamepad

This works GREAT...Yay!!! I was concerned because lately it seems when I purchase a charger it either doesn't work, charges very slow, or won't fit BUT this one is perfect and works as it should! I am very pleased with this purchase. It looks as close to the original charger the WI U came with as you could possibly get and that is what I wanted. My kids are not very cautious when it comes to these cords and unfortunately, we all tend to trip over them will all these electronics the kids use these days and the fact that our house is unbelievably small!

Purchased this for my kids when the original charger for their Wii U control pad suddenly stopped working. From what I'm seeing, that seems to be a very common problem. This product arrived and is exactly as described. It charged the Wii U pad with no problems whatsoever. My kids have played the device with it plugged in and we've had no problems with overheating or anything like that. To be honest, I do unplug this at night purely as a precaution after reading reviews of problems with various other aftermarket accessories (not necessarily this one in particular).

Keep this away from cats! The internal structure of the original cable was similar to coaxial, so even one bite mark damaged the negative wire, which is braided around the positive wire insulation, so fraying the negative even just a little will drop the voltage just enough to make the charger not charge the WII U Console, I think mine had dropped 0.25 volts from 4.75 and that was enough to make it stop working, and repairing the damage was not possible because the individual strands are just to small to work on.

9/6/17: I am giving this 2 more stars for the customer service. After my original review they reached out to me right away and offered a solution to resolve my order. I was happy with this and the fact that they responded quickly.8/30/17: The charger works so it gets stars for that. Given the price I wasn't expecting much but I was expecting it to seem a little better quality than it is. It's very cheap feeling and gets pretty hot while charging so I'm a little concerned with that.If I hadn't thrown away the packaging I would defantly consider sending it back for a more solid feeling charger.

The charger arrived with no issue. But it is not charging Wii U gamepad at all. This was bought to replace the original nintendo charger that had short. The original still charges better than this. Sadly, I bought this based on verified reviews.Update: Seller saw the initial 1 star review & reached out. They promptly sent replacement that arrived in a few short days. The replacement seems to be charging the game pad.

Our Wii U Gamepad’s original charger had become loose and eventually stopped functioning altogether. I purchased this cord as its replacement. This works *perfectly*. Snugly fits in the Gamepad’s port and charges as well as the original cord when it was new. If you are having any issues with the original charging cord for your Wii U Gamepad — this just might be the answer you’re looking for.

For the Wii u game pad... not the console. Just so people know if you are reading the reviews. I know it says it but man I swear some people juat don't know when you ask them at the stores. Ugh. Glad this was the right one after buying the wrong one at the stores and showing them the cord. Yay Amazon.
