Worked perfectly ... installed in 1 minute!
I purchased the version that included 2 USB cables. I'm using this to share a Logitech wireless Keyboard and mouse with 2 computers (the USB wireless transmitted/received for the keyboard and mouse is now plugged into the back of the Tek Republic box). There are no 'drivers' required, this is a very simple 'mechanical' way to share a USB device between multiple computers. Good price, perfect solution and well made. P.S the packaging was also sensible (1 cardboard box and 1 plastic tray then can be recycled). 10/10!

Excellent Solution to Sharing One printer between Two Computers
This device operates exactly as expected. It was easy to set up and so far it has been very reliable. I have encounterd no problems at all. It came with 2 USB connector cables and I considered the entire package as a bargain. It has a very small space profile and is very simple to operate. Some may consider the lightness of the product a negative attribute but I did not encounter any issues with it at all

Both computers work fine with the printer
This does not work, both my computers, one Windows XP and one WIndows 7 Profession will not recognize the device. Both computers work fine with the printer, but neither will go through this switch.I have even tried reversing the outputs in case switch position 1 was wired to cable position 2 and vice versa.Since its advertised as usable with any USB version, that should not be an issue. To be fair its probably just an internal wiring problem, but for twelve dollars, I am not even going to waste time trying to get a replacement or refund.

Good USB2 switch, but cheap included cables
Works well for switching things.I use one of these to share a gamepad between two computers (on a shared KVM, but the gamepad does not work so well through the KVM).I use another for switching between the same KVM and a (rather convoluted) USB to PS/2 to USB series of keyboard adapters so my Lenovo laptop allows me access to its BIOS and some other functions. A lot of Lenovo laptops deal okay with directly attached USB keyboards but don't seem to take kindly to the same keyboard through a USB KVM, so this helps there as long as I remember to switch it as appropriate. So, basically, it can, with appropriate cables, be used in both directions -- switching peripherals between hosts, or selecting which peripheral a host has available to it (most people would probably not need this direction though). The included cables are junk (this seems pretty common these days). Buy your own.

Super easy, convenient, and functional!
In our small church office we often have two computers being used at two stations and at the same time. Since we don't have a wifi network, it was an annoyance switching the USB Printer cable from one computer to the other in order to print a document or project. I purchased this "Sharing Switch" as a solution -- and Viola! Problem solved. (I velcroed the switch onto the side of the printer for easy access.)

OK Performer
Works as expected. But cannot rate it higher for these reasons: a) Comes with two USB cables that extend from the ports on the unit to the computers. But lacks a third cable that serves as the master from the printer to the switch itself. b) No instructions come with it. Have to know what you are doing.

Great Little Device for the $$
I have two computers, one of which hosts all my virtual machines. Normally I just RDP to it, but on occasion I need to logon directly to it. This great little guy made it super simple for me to share my wireless keyboard and mouse between the two computer ... at a very reasonable price. I love it.I totally agree with many of the other posts, it is extremely light so once the USB cables are in it, it does not want to stand straight on it's own. Like many others suggested here, I simply put some velcro strips on the bottom and "wala" problem solved. I think this is a great product for the $$.

It Does What You Need It To Do
This is a completely mechanical switch for USB cables. I use these to connect two different computers to the same wireless keyboard/mouse combo. It works great - an indicator light shows you which circuit you're on. I have purchased three of these over the course of many years and all three are still going strong (I have three laptop/desktop setups that use these).
