Tough but eco-friendly
I prefer the burlap material for several reasons, namely longer lasting than plastic, naturally biodegradable, and extremely sturdy. They don’t tear or leak soil contents even when roughly handled and dropped. I have used about 150 bags and the high quality is consistent. The last 100 bags I am placing in areas of soil erosion on a bare earth slope. My hope is that over several years they will weaken and spill the soils onto the slope in a slow rebuild of the ground. I am very pleased with this product.

Very good sandbags
No one wants to need sandbags to prepare for a potential flood, but if you are in that situation like I was, these bags are perfect. Many people in our town got white polypropylene bags instead of burlap bags, because the town was handing them out for free. With a couple of months, those bags were literally ripping apart and shredding just from sitting outside! Our burlap sandbags looked as good as new in the same timeframe. Fortunately, our area of town didn't flood, but there were multiple floods north of us and they are expecting more. People from that area were very happy to get my already used (& filled) burlap sandbags when I didn't need them anymore, so those sandbags are still serving our community, months after the other kind have fallen apart.

Does that job
I took one star off because one of the bags isn't as durable as the rest given the price. I do like the size. Will be ordering more, I use them to direct rain runoff along my driveway. I spray painted them "camo" with green paint to help them blend between driveway and grass. It's my under $50 solution to a problem the township introduced when they repaved the road, a lot more runoff comes on my side now, rather than spending at least $1,000 to bury some kind of rocks or brick to redirect.

Stabilizing the river bank
I’m on a TVA white water river, that washes awake the river bank and trees. I stabilize the bank with 40 lb bags of concrete. The burlap bags keep the concrete bags from falling apart before they get hard. They are strong and ideal for that purpose.

Good but came in thick plastic
The sand bag seems fine...But the packaging from the company was the opposite of our intended purpose--to be natural. They put it in huge, thick plastic wrapping:(

Great sandbags!
I used these with a mix of the standard polypropylene bags--25 of these and 75 of the others. These cost more but I really liked them--they're more flexible than the others so they fit together more closely and provide a more solid barrier (I was using mine as a bullet backstop that has to be good to stop .308 Win rounds). They look far better too than the stark white of the other sandbags. Just a pleasure to use and they stack really well. In hindsight I'd probably pay more and just use these.

Not durable, very cheap , thin.
After 1year these burlap bags are rotting, falling apart. Very cheap, I don't recommend these sandbags.

Strong for not what's intended for
I bought for my dog who loves to rip pillows up. I stuff them with pillow rememinents and he carries it around until he puts a hole in one then I cover it up with another sack. This is perfect for him.
