Very nice Irish tea and good price.

Tea is fresh and smooth. Nice taste. What I hoped for in an Irish breakfast tea.

Disclaimer: not a food or tea critic, and I am "new" to tea after cutting back on coffee due to acid reflux.With supply chains disrupted, I am not always able to find a certain green-labeled Irish Breakfast Tea that's common here on grocery shelves in America. Barry's came up on a search on Amazon, so I decided to give an actual Irish brand a try. And how I wish I had done so before!The smell when opening the box is just wonderful, warm, and inviting. The taste, once steeped, is deep and flavorful, and will NOT turn bitter even when leaving the tea bag in the cup. For me, this is one of the best things about Barry's Irish Breakfast Tea. Since the tea bags do not have drawstrings, and I keep my cup on a mug warmer for a long time while I'm working, I end up oversteeping teas quite often. This may seem like a small, easy fix — why not just remove the tea bag, after all — but if I can continue my work without getting up from my desk and still enjoy a fine tea that will never get too bitter, then I'm in love. And as a sufferer of acid reflux, I can personally vouch after a few cups that this tea is not too acidic and is very smooth going down.So if you want a "set it and forget it" tea that won't be too bitter or acidic, yet still has a strong, smooth Assam scent and flavor, consider this tea. I can't recommend it enough. This is my new favorite breakfast tea.P.S.: Also, invest in a mug warmer!

This is the best black tea, ever. It tastes just as smooth and yummy as the tea we enjoyed in Ireland. I’m a tea lover and am so glad to have found this available in the States.

I bought breakfast tea and it’s tasty and economical

I took my kids to Ireland to look for fairies when they were little. We stayed at a few working farms because we were allowed to wander the hills and glens. It was heaven. Sadly, we didn't find fairies, but we did find Barry's Irish Breakfast Tea in almost every farm we stayed at. The farmers wife in Quilty even taught me to make it "properly." I bought an extra suitcase to load up on those magical green boxes and the Rose cream pies the girls loved. And Saint Brigid's Crosses. A stupid amount of Saint Brigid's crosses.I still order Barry's Irish Breakfast tea regularly so I never run out. I dramatically poopoo any effort to convert me to Twining. When you've had the best, you'll never want to settle for expensive looking over genuine.
