Good quality, meets expectations
Using these connectors for a boat trolling motor, current not exceeding 45A. They are easy to work with, well made. Easy to plug in and disconnect.

Missing gold bullets and some dont fit
Was missing some of the male ones and had one extra female so two of the connectors were unusable. Out of the ones that were in the package about half did not fit together even with significant force. Bad thing if they were soldered on and ripped out of the wire when the connector suddenly comes undone since theres so much force needed to unplug. Other ec8s i have are not this difficult.

Tricky to get the bullet into the connector.
So once you get your wire soldered onto the bullet, which was easy, the solder cups tinned very nicely, you have to be careful not to get any solder on the outside of the bullet, which will make inserting it into the plastic connector housing impossible. I did do this on a few occasions, but took the solder off with a rotary file in my Dremel tool. Made short work of it. But to the point of my review... getting your wired bullet into the plastic housing was quite the chore. I had to use a vise and basically compress it in. I put a flare wrench on the backside so the wire could pass through and have the force applied to the base of the connector and not the wire (I soldered the bullet on with the wire already through the connector, so the assembled wire/bullet was going into the connector in reverse). It was a little awkward and fiddley. With the female bullet, I used an extremely small socket so the force could be applied directly to the inside base of the bullet, then just cranked the vise shut. Worked brilliantly and you could really feel the bullet positively pop into home. The male lead was a little tougher, and I ended up damaging one of them trying different approaches, but not to the point it won't work. Still used the flare wrench on the back of the connector, but found no sockets would fit over the outside of the bullet but inside the connector, and no tiny screwdriver or allen key would fit in the recess in the middle and be sturdy enough to drive the bullet in (this is how I damaged one, broke one of the "leaves" of the male bullet when it shifted in the vise with an allen key in the center trying to drive it in.) Just had a brainstorm as I wrote this... Use one of the female bullets, without a wire soldered on yet, as your driver to seat your assembled male bullets into the connectors, then pull the female bullet off, and finish your assembly of that side... Sounds like a solid plan.FYI, I used these connectors to make disconnect leads for the ATV winch I have mounted on my utility trailer so I don't have to bolt the hand controller to the winch and all the way up to my battery every time I want to use it. The end I put on my battery also allows me to quick connect things like jumper cables.

Good quality
Good connectors, these don't assemble like eflite connectors, you have to put the wire through the connector before you solder bullet on.
