I personally think the flavor is really good and of course the nutritional aspect is nice but at 3-4x every other brand of sauce, you gotta love it to pay the premium.Side note, the jar itself is horrible. I understand the mental aspect of a taller jar looking bigger but it’s so skinny that inevitably it’s impossible to scoop anything leftover out and it’s a thick sauce. So for $8, prefer not to leave $1 in each jar

To mere call it a "sauce" does the whole concept a grave disservice. Yes, of course, it's brilliant over pasta as one might presume, but the serving options don't end there, not by a long shot. It's excellent spread over pizza, mixed into a bloody Mary, spooned up straight as soup, and more. The vodka sauce is my favorite of the four flavors, though it's a tough call to make, since it's so incredibly rich and creamy. Downright buttery, you'd never know it was dairy-free from the taste. In fact, it's completely vegan, gluten-free, and packs in more servings of vegetable goodness than your average side salad. They really need to sell these 12-packs because I can eat a bottle a day if I'm not careful.

Best price on Amazon...this company is great, sauce is delicious. We like the other flavors too, Vodka the best for us!

delicious flavor, high fiber, extremely expensive & too much salt. with 2000 mg for an entire day this one 1/2 cup serving of sauce contains 25%. that's too much. please reduce the salt content. salt is killing Americans. tastes good but unhealthful. this sauce has a nice sweetness from the veggies. (not from added sugar) this is thick the way i like it. if you want it thinner just add a very small amount of water or broth. it's tomato spelled backward. lol

I am soooo glad I tried Otamot! The spicy sauce was good, but the vodka sauce was FANTASTIC! Both flavors are thick and scrumptious...I even added a little water to get the last drop out of the jar. Seems like each jar could be diluted or not depending on the recipe. Quality product. Fair price for all organic ingredients. I can pronounce all the ingredients...even the ones spelled backwards!

This case of 4 bottle should run $26. It's already a high price for a thin bottle of sauce, and yes it does indeed taste absolutely amazing but I'm frustrated at the price gouging.So 5 stars on the sauce and 1 star on the absurd current price. World market sells these and often has BOGO's so you can (quite frequently) get 4 jars for $13.

I love the look of these, the ingredients, and the versatility of flavors. Only ranked lower because I think the spicy should be appropriately labeled for how spicy it is!

Since discovering this sauce in late 2019, I’ve never used anything else out of a jar. It simply has the best taste, consistency (not runny!) and nutrient profile. We’ve used the other available flavors but the Essential is definitely most frequently for all our saucing needs; the 4-pack is perfect so it’s always on hand.
