NOT AS DEEP AS PICTURED!! IDEAL FOR COUPLE OF SMALL ITEMS LIKE FRENCH FRIES, SHRIMP, ETC... AND DEFINITELY "NOT" FOR PASTA OR NOODLES!!

Turns out I now am reaching for it for many more things than anticipated. I was a little put off by its size but again that is no longer and issue. Cleans up great. It is very substantial and has held up well in heat, hot oil, etc. Wish this manufacturer made other tools like this. FYI - Through multiple washings, dishwashing etc. This has stayed perfect red and intact!

I recently ordered the 12 cm skimmer. When I pulled it out of the dishwasher, some brown liquid dripped from the handle which got on my counter and dishtowel. It looks like the screws in the handle rusted. I have not had this skimmer long -- this was the first washing. I'll be returning it and looking for a better one.

I would be very surprised if the metal is actually stainless steel. The rim, most certainly is not. I’m sure this strainer will be useful for many, but not in my kitchen. Cheap. Made in China. (Note - returning item would not have made sense, given the low cost and the potential of another item going to a land fill). I pledge to make more informed purchasing choices in the future. Thank you, Amazon for having so many product choices!

depending on what you use it for it can be a little hard to clean out the small holes

The product looks pretty nice over all. I like the wooden handle which make it easy to grip on to. My biggest problem is that it came with a pretty sizable dent and a bit deformed. I had to spend quite sometime to hammer it in but even then it doesn't look perfect. The metal mesh is kind of thin, so I don't know if it will be able to take any rough handling.

Quality is real good . However in a long term use, I realised that if there is a holder on the side, I can leave the frying thing and do another work. Now I have to hold it and stand there all the way till everythig in there is fried.

This silicone strainer-spoon is just what I was looking for. Had been using a wire scoop to get items out of Instant Pot, which worked but was a little difficult to clean. This silicone tool is just perfect. You can stir ingredients without scratching the pot plus strain out the meat or whatever it is you want to remove from the pot. Has a nice weight to the metal handle and the silicone head is just the right size. Very pleased with it and the price was great too!

Be careful, this is more industrial size, I thought it would be a normal size straining spoon but it is 16cm across the head and doesn’t fit in a normal kitchen drawer. Would have returned it but it cost £4 to send it back no free return hence review. If you want an industrial spoon it would be ok.

Very sturdy and strong strainer ladle. Well made. Unfortunately it is massive and huge for my purposes. Just wish there were more smaller sizes. Would definitely buy one if there is a smaller size of the same make and from the same seller.

This item was way bigger than I thought. Picture looks smaller than the actual size! The base is nearly as big as my head! And I have a pretty big head!

Far surpassed my expectations for the price.

Really pleased with this for picking up curds from the whey when cheese making. It's well made and does the job well.
