LagunaPond Fountain Pump Kit, 185-GPH

When it works it is mediocre. Unfortunately it plugs really easily. I have had mine for over a week and can't keep it running for longer than four hours. The company I bought it from was quick to respond and suggested I make a filter by putting it in a container filled with stones and drill a 1 inch hole for the spout to come out of. I did this and it still plugged. Unfortunately I am using this in a larger pond that is surrounded by pine trees. Pine needles fall into the pond and this seems to be what it plugging it up. There are two fountain heads. One is like a sprinkler with a lot of little holes. The water doesn't come out evenly when it works. The other head is more even and comes out in the shape of a vase. I am going to try and put a sponge in by the motor in hopes that the water will flow through but not the pine needles. Unfortunately I am just tired of getting in and out of my pond to keep fixing this.

This kit comes with a pump that has very long cord which I like very much. Don't buy anything that comes with only 6' cord. It is never long enough. I used it in a container water garden and it took only 5 mins to set up, open package, attach the nozzle, submerge it into water (This is important, operating submersion pump without water kills it immediately) and plug in the power, and done... Simple as it is. Continuous operation for a month now (off in the night) and still going well. This thing comes with 2 years warranty and if you have problem, just contact the manufacturer.

I am amazed at how well this small, inexpensive but powerful pump functions, particularly compared to the much larger and much more expensive model that it replaced (and which lasted 2 years). I've only had it installed for 45 days but if it lasts 2 years or more, it will be the bargain of the year.

Had this for a couple of months now for an indoor water fountain, and hasn't had any issue. Really good for the price and works as intended. I've had this on for about 14 hrs a day since my purchase.

Don't buy. It worked for about 5 minutes then just stopped. Clean clear water. No debris in or around pump. It just quit.

Only lasted about three months was not too happy with it had good power at the beginning kept it clean and maintenance but the spinner inside wore down very quickly .

Great little pump. Works great as a pump for my waterfall in my outdoor pond. Has been running 24/7 for 3 months now and no problems at all. Definitely recommend.

The flow is inconsistent. Every morning I would need to adjust it. Ridiculous! The only reason I have not returned it is because while adjusting the flow the top fountain portion of the kit fell into the bottom of my pond. Now I have the equivilant of a regular water hose with water flowing out the top. Again, a piece of crap!

Quick delivery but when reading instructions it stipulated comes with plug attached. Guess what, no plug. Disappointed. On full pump the fountain is about 15 inches high.

Really well made pump. Works well for our small pond and powerful. Comes with different fountain heads. This is one of the only ones we came across which had an earth wire!!!I would definitely recommend this product. I’m very happy. You just need to attach a plug to it.

Was good whilst it lasted - for the price I would have expected it to last longer.

It makes a magical feel to the garden with this pump installed.
