Great Dane loves this toy

My dog normally rips through chew toys within a day or two. This fat cat toy has been his favorite for 3 weeks! It won't last forever, but longer than most others we have tried.

My daughters Boston terrier takes great pleasure in ripping the legs off, but that doesn’t tear a hole in the body. So he just shakes it by the tail. I’ve actually bought several of these because he likes them so much

This toy used to be available in local stores, but is no longer stocked. I ordered this one to replace my boxer's "mean kitty" that another dog had tried to disembowel. The other dog tried to shred it, but only succeeded in tearing a hole in the main body. The legs and tail remained intact. My dog has played with the old toy for 3 years. My sister has 3 of these that are 8 years old! They are cherished by a Golden Retriever and a Visla. They even take them outdoors with them.These toys hold up to the normal day to day tugging and playing really well. No toy is safe from a dog who is intent on ripping it apart (some dogs want to remove the squeekers from this type of toy), and after the other dog tore this one up I took it to the local shoe repair and had it repaired. It has lasted another 2 years since the repair.The only reason I only gave it 4 stars (instead of 5) is because I have not removed it from the packaging it came in, yet. I'm waiting for the old toy to finally give up, and then I'll give my boxer the new one. But, the new one looks and feels exactly like the old one.I also order one smaller version of this toy, and gave it to a friends Papillion. My friend told me that her little wild nut just loves it, plays with it every day. She said that all his other toys have only lasted at the most a week before he demolishes them. This one is going on a month now, with no damage.

This cat was bought May 25. Once the ears were chewed off, it was a matter of time before I had stuffing all over. I have a Shitzu/Maltese mix...go figure! BUT, I bought again because if the durability at such a reasonable price.

My 100 lb. English lab can destroy toys quick. I saw an ad for this toy come up talking about how it wears well especially with hearty chewers, so I gave it a whirl and now it's one of my favorite toys to buy for my dog. It lasts a long time and it's fun to see her have something to play with for so long when I'm used to seeing something destroyed in a day!

This toy has proven to be better than I dared to hope for.

My dogs have always enjoyed their mean kitty toys. And this is one of them. Very sturdy and take quite a bit of throwing around and being chewed on. I would buy again.

so not the first dog i have bought these for. my rotty loved them and they were pretty tough. now i have a staffy and again proving to be popular and tough. i will certainly buy again.

Looks absolutely fabulous, made me smile when I opened it. Much better protected and insulated than most pet toys but that didn't stop my very destructive border collie picking up the gauntlet and wrecking it anyway; took her 2 weeks though compared to the usual 2 minutes.

My two dogs, had this toy for less than 10 minutes before it was ripped and the stuffing had been removed.

Bought as a replacement for a labrador who had managed to finally make a hole into his old one (it has lasted him over a year and he normally manages to destroy everything). I'm hoping this one will be the same and will last a long time!
