I got this cover as an added layer of protection for our switch. It fits perfectly on the switch and is a matte feel so there is no grip problems. It seems pretty sturdy but the only problem I have had is trying to dock the switch. The case seems a little thick at the bottom so you need to give it a little more push when you dock it, but it will eventually go in. All in all very functional and worth the buy!

Absolutely gorgeous cover for my switch. The colors are beautiful!Yes, the pieces are very slim, but I found it extremely easy to put on, latch into place & remove. I was gentle with it, as some reviews stated the pieces snapped easily.Some other reviews said they had trouble getting it to dock with the cover on, however, I had no such issue.For reference, I believe the Switch I bought off of someone is the original, not the OLED. I know it’s not the lite Switch. Not sure if that was the issue some had or not.I do wish it had some rubber grips or textured grips, as it is very slick to hold, but other than that, I have no issues & would buy it again.

Quality is excellent and was very easy to install. Everything fits correctly, no buttons or openings are covered. The pieces snapped on tightly and nothing is loose. It does fit a tad bit snug in the dock, but it still fits and charges perfectly fine. I actually like this cover so much I plan on getting other colors!

I really love this sleek plastic case/cover. The color is really pretty and it was very easy to put on.The only "issue" is more of a preference thing that others should know - it does sit flush w/ the buttons so you can't rock as easily from x/y/b/a or the left pad, you gotta press more into the circles. Same with the back button to release slider to remove the joycon from the main switch, but I like that because I won't easily hit it or my kid won't accidentally slide it up. I like the back bottom grip for each joycon as well.

I ordered the pink case, and the color is a lovely, cool pastel pink—very aesthetically pleasing. If you're considering getting the matching pink faceplate, just be aware that it's more of a peachy tone, so it doesn’t match the case exactly.The case does allow for docking, but it's a pretty snug fit. It works, but you’ll want to be gentle when inserting or removing it from the dock. A screen protector is a must if you're docking with a case. The added grips are a nice touch and make the Switch a bit more comfortable to hold during longer play sessions.One downside I noticed is the large gaps around the top buttons. It leaves space where dust and debris can easily get in, which is a bit frustrating. Because of this and some other slight misalignments, the case creaks a lot when you're holding or pressing on it—definitely something to consider if you're sensitive to that kind of noise.Another small issue is that the release buttons for the Joy-Cons are flush with the case, making them a bit harder to press. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does take some getting used to. Also, when you remove the case, the connector piece for the top face of the Joy-Con looks really thin and fragile. It seems like it could break easily, and if it does, you might not be able to use the case again. No complains with the case for the body part.Overall, it’s a cute case but it comes with a few flaws you should be aware of before purchasing.

My switch was getting old and buying the case was a great way to give my switch a very needed makeover! It is a nice toned down pink and is very sturdy. The case isn’t too easy to put on and off, which also means it stays in place. The only downside is that you can’t put the joy-cons into the comfort grip with the case on. Other than that, no real problem with the cover itself. Definitely recommend!

I got this hard shell cover for my switch because I thought it looked pretty and figured it was about time to get my console some protection. Right out of the box I was disappointed. The back plate was missing, oh well, I usually leave it docked anyway. Not a deal breaker for me. My main concern was with my joycons. They're the official Animal Crossing edition. Initially I thought the covers fit the joycons well and looked nice. Awesome. That was until I had them sitting on the coffee table when my dog's tail knocked them onto the hardwood floor. Thank goodness the joycons were in their shiny new covers, right? WRONG. The cover popped clean off the left joycon when it hit the floor. Okay so the cover took most of the damage, right? WRONG AGAIN. The release button somehow got jammed in the down-pressed position and now my joycon won't lock into my switch. So not only was part of the cover missing, but now after 3 years of no issues my joycon is busted when it was supposed to be protected. Learn from my mistakes people and DO NOT PURCHASE!
