This cute yellow butter bell is perfect. A whole stick of butter fits perfectly into the bell. It sits on my kitchen counter away from heat. The butter stays soft and tastes great. It is so much easier now to spread butter on toast, pancakes, waffles, tortillas etc. I change the water and clean the bowl every 3-4 days.

This butter bell is bright yellow just like its contents, which it keeps fresh and soft and ready to go, plus the line on the glass makes it easy to see when it's time to change the water. An excellent buy, highly recommended!

We live in Florida and wanted to keep butter safely on the counter, this is perfect. Pleasing to the eye and goes well with our decor. Perfect. Been through the dishwasher a few times and is doing great.

Really spreadable butter and seems like the butter stays fresh. If you fill it too full of butter it can touch the water and get grey and gross.

Butter sometimes falls into dish...just okay...not the greatest. I like the dish part that is clear and the water mark to show where to fill water to. Easy to clean.

I knew about "butter bells" but never got around to doing anything with the information until I was browsing the category recently. Many of the selections depend on a lid and promise freshness, but that's not the way butter bells traditionally work. And then I saw this one. The gorgeous yellow color called my name and the traditional design sealed the deal. (I love Irish butter but don't love the higher price for the "soft" version. After "amortizing" the cost of the butter bell, I should be saving $ soon.) I use filtered water which I change every few days until I empty the bell of its butter and put both pieces in the top level of my dishwasher for a thorough cleaning. It's cute, it's fun and it works!

Having given up on finding truly "spreadable" butter without added industrial seed oils, I finally found this butter keeper crock. It holds a (smashed) stick of room temperature butter suspended over cool water in a covered glass container. When I need to spread some butter on a piece of bread, all I have to do is invert the bell-shaped crock and set it onto its flat handle, making it easy to scoop out the amount of butter I need.

This butter bell is easy to pack, keeps the butter spreadable without letting it get too soft, and looks great on my counter. Exactly what I was looking for! I bought the dark blue as well so I always have one in the dishwasher and one that’s full. Refill with ice water every day, especially in summer, to keep butter at its freshest. I highly recommend this product.

Alors que les autres beurriers bretons ont l'air d'avoir été tirés directement d'une motte de glaise (chinoise), celui-là est délicat, transparent, élégant... mais chinois (bon... on s'y fait quand même).

Optisch ist diese Butterdose sehr nett. Die Butter ist immer streichfähig. Schade ist, dass nur ca. 200 Gramm Butter in die Dose passen, man hat also immer einen Rest übrig. Bei sehr warmen Temperaturen rutscht die Butter ins Wasser, weil die Oberfläche des Butterbehälters sehr glatt ist, danach hält die Butter nicht mehr in dem Gefäß. Also für sehr warme Außentemperaturen mit Einschränkung geeignet.Alle meine Gäste waren von dem Teil total begeistert.

The vessel is small but it works and it keeps butter fresh and spreadable. Love it.
