Urbanears Sumpan in-Ear Headphones, Black (4091379) (Model: 04091379)

If you read some of the articles/reviews of these headphones, you'll see that they talk about sound quality -- and yes, there are earphones that sound better than these. For me, though, the design quite makes up for this. I run with them in 90 degree weather, and they do not slip in my ears (no matter how sweaty I get, ewwwww). I'm also a big fan of the nifty way you can securely loop the cable; no more knots. If these had a volume button and the sound was a bit more crisp, I'd be willing to give them five stars. Of course, then they would probably be more expensive, so for the money, they're a good little product. Note that I've only been using them for about a month, so the real test will be how long they last before they start to short out.

I'm on web conferences constantly, and like to listen to my music on the go. Between work and general use, I generally go through a pair of earbuds every few months - faster, depending on the quality of cable & mic. The past two headsets I had ordered in a similar price range ($25-50) had worse mic's and sound quality.Especially for these being an "external" earbud that sits in, rather than jams in to your ear, I was surprised by how good the sound quality is. No tangle cord seems pretty durable, and the hook design + rubber bit to wrap the cord is pretty neat. So far, I'm impressed - especially for the price. The mic is great, and has great pick up without grabbing too much background white noise (eg. wind). Recommend.

I have been a fan of Urbanears products since 2012. I think the overall product quality is great and the price isn't expensive. These earphones have excellent sound quality... 10/10. BUT, with this particular product, the comfort level is a 2. The insides of my ears are small (whenever earphones come with the interchangeable silicone tips I have to choose the smallest ones or else they won't even fit in my ear). Since these have a round shape and you are unable to change the size, they become extremely uncomfortable to wear after about 15 minutes. 20 minutes later, I have to take them out because it hurts. Normal ear insides = definitely buy!! Small ear insides = stay away!

Definitely worth paying the extra price for these. The fabric makes these way nicer and more durable than standard plastic coverings. No kinking and clearly more durable. Sound quality is excellent. Use these mostly for phone and Zoom where top quality sound is required.

The quality o the voices and the color of the headphones are great. However, the gummies covering the earbuds fall off every time I put them in my bag. ıt's the first month and I have already lost one of them. They come with a pair of spare gummies in the box though.

I bought Urbanears Kransen headphones and was totally blown away by them but these Sumpans aren't the best. The Kransens connect nicely at the back of the earbuds, but these have a hook instead, which means the cord tangles a lot by design! Also, these aren't isolating like the Kransens; they are more like Apple earbuds, which is OK but I loved how isolating the Kransens were. These are really just OK; the color is great, the quality is pretty good, but the cool parts of the Kransens are missing in the Sumpans.UPDATE:I am not too impressed with these earbuds. The covering comes off them pretty easily and I lost one. They aren’t really isolating and they tangle too much. Not that much better than iPhone earbuds.

I only buy Urbanears headphones. Great sound, design, quality, everything. Great gifts, too.

I really like UrbanEars and the quality they offer but this model is unfortunately a bit too bulky for my ears which is why they end up hurting after a short while. I really liked the design of the cable though - hopefully there will be a similar model for smaller ears in the future.

Compré estos auriculares para sustituir a otros de esta misma marca que ya después de muchos años dijeron basta. Decir que me decidí por este modelo por la forma que tenían y por llevar el cable reforzado con un trenzado de tela (ya que los anteriores se rompieron por el cable).Decir que los auriculares tienen una muy buena calidad de construcción y un par de detalles muy ingeniosos y útiles, como el poder engancharlos para que queden como un collar y llevar al cuello o la parte del jack, que se retuerce sobre si misma y se inserta en un orificio que está diseñado para poder enrollar los auriculares para guardarlos sin necesitar un elemento externo para mantenerlos sujeto.En lo que respecta al sonido, sin ser yo ningún experto, lo cierto es que me parecía muy bueno. Tienen un volumen muy alto y claro. No distorsiona nada y con pocos puntos de volumen se puede disfrutar con detalle de matices en la música.El único punto negativo (para mi) y el que me ha hecho devolverlos es que me hacían daño. A pesar de que otros auriculares con forma similar a estos han sido de los más cómodos que he usado, en concreto éstos me hacían daño a los pocos minutos de tenerlos puestos. No llegaba a encontrar en ningún momento una colocación que me hiciera estar plenamente cómodo con ellos.En resumen, si tus orejas son "compatibles" con ellos (xD), la verdad es que son muy recomendables y para mi merecen la pena por el precio que tienen para alguien que quiera unos auriculares duraderos y de calidad.

Ergänzung zum letzten Kauf.. Nachdem die Indigo farbenen ihren Geist aufgegeben hatten, habe ich mir zwei schwarze bestellt -auf Vorrat sozusagen. Normalerweise halten sie bei mir mindestens ein halbes Jahr also bei dem Preis und der guten Soundqualität gerade noch vertretbar die zwei schwarzen haben jetzt aber beide weniger als je 3 Monate gehalten und an meinem Gebrauch hat sich nichts geändert. Ich mache da nichts dramatisches damit, nur hören beim Zugfahren, beim in die Arbeit gehen, beim Spazieren gehen, beim telefonieren also völlig normaler Gebrauch. Bin überhaupt nicht mehr zufrieden damit, schon gar nicht für den Preis. Sound ist weiterhin besser als die Konkurrenz, deshalb nur zwei Punkte Abzug von meiner letzten RezensionDie Farbe ist dunkler als auf den Bildern. Der Preis ist happig.Es ist immer noch ein Kopfhörer der alten Produktion, das heißt die Kunststoff Überzüge eingefallen können da sie nicht fix befestigten sind. Die Kabel sind leider dünner als meine alten Urbanears Kopfhörer die ich sehr geliebt habe und die sehr lange gehalten haben.Soundqualität ist gut!Addition for my last buy. Bought two black once because Indigo is out. I always need them in advance in case one gives up working. But these ones both only lasted less than three months each, with completly normal use. just listening to during my commute to work during going on walks, phone.. . not using them while Jogging or so! So I'm not content at all, especially for that price. Sound is still better than competition, So only two stars Less than last time.Color is darker than on the picture. Price is quite high. The cable unfortunately is thinner than my old Urbanears which I loved very much and which lasted very long. Ear caps are of the old production series, still not fixed, can fall off quite easily.Sound quality is good!
