Speakers don't sound that great at all they and the 6x9 they have plastic trim going around the speaker and where you put the screws can't get a socket around the bolts to tighten the bolts to hold the speakers down the plastic is completely unnecessary I get it there for a spacer to keep from crushing the speaker but shouldn't be so tight up against the holes that are used to mount the speakers

These are a great budget solution, but the performance is less than what I expected from Alpine even at this price point.

Low power handling on bass heavy genres very muddy mids and shrill highs. Spring for the next up series for a few dollars more. Pics are great at hiding the thin paper cones. Not garbage but far from good for Metal and Hip-hop/EDM.

I bought these because I was searching on a budget to replace my factory speakers in my truck with an upgrade... An upgrade these ARE NOT! The highs come out a little cleaner than the factory speakers, but these “Alpine” speakers “crack” a lot!! I can’t even turn the volume to 2/3rds of the level I went to with the factory speakers without them sounding like the paper cone is one second from tearing apart! There is absolutely NO WAY that these speakers can handle HALF of the power rating they advertise. What a horrible experience and I can’t even believe that Alpine out their name on these piles of paper junk!Do not buy! DO NOT BUY!!! If you’re are thinking about buying these speakers, take your cash and flush it down the toilet... You will get a better return for your money doing that instead of buying these speakers!

This was advertised as new, but when they arrived one of the 6.5” speaker cones had been punctured and looked as if someone tried to repair it. It also looked like they had been installed before due to missing paint by screw holes. I didn’t even install them, sending them back.
