LOVE THIS WHOLE SYSTEM!!
We started out with Boon Nursh bottles & they have lived up to every standard I hoped for so we I found these lids, I was SOLD! I gave everything 5 stars because it’s awesome! The straw/lid combo is obviously not leak-proof if turned over but the seal around the lid is 100% perfect! It’s so easy to clean, yes it’s silicone so fuzz can stick but a baby wipe fixes it right up! It’s perfect for traveling! I buy the boon storage lids and they travel that way. I use the boon storage containers to hold the silicone lids until I’m ready to use them.. Keeps them clean and organized! The the lid/straw combo: the lids are silicone. The straw is hard plastic. You can see them used on the 4 ounce bottle and the 8 ounce bottle. The 4 ounce is easier to hold for my little one. The 8 ounce would be perfect for a toddler. I take the nipple out of the ring on the bottle, screw the ring back on and then put the silicone lid on. It’s hard to stretch and out on but that’s what gives it it’s seal. For the zippy cup lid: its 100% silicone. I held it upside down and it didn’t leak but if the sucking part is pressed & it’s upside down it will leak. I take the nipple out of the plastic ring and screw the plastic ring back on and then put the silicone sippy lid on. My little one loves to chew on it and has no problem getting drink out (7 months). We mostly use the 4 ounce bottle because it’s easier for her to hold. The silicone drop in still works as normal and collapses as she drinks.

So great, I’m coming back for more
These covers are amazing. I purchase them for my two year old normal sippy cups; I was tired of washing their complicated straw systems and they were not leak proof.Well I’ve been using them for almost a week now and today we went out to eat in the hot Texas weather, I poured cold water with ice to take home in a stainless steel cup. We napped for two hours and after 3 hours I realized the ice was still solid. I am getting more colorsNote these are not leak proof but if tilted over like a toddler does it won’t spill.

Cute idea with a few flaws
I got these for my daughter who is obsessed with "big girl" cups and straws thinking it would save on the spills. While they do survive the drop test, I started to notice that there was a pressure build up issue that causes the liquid to funnel up through the straw. The top would become puffy and the only way to release the air without liquid coming up through the straw was to remove the top to express excess air. Also, they are very tight around the plastic toddler cups we have, and when I say very tight I mean sometimes I have to fight with them just to get it properly situated around the cup... so pick your cup battles wisely. Despite all of those things they are good. Cleaning was easy and storage/on-the-go quality is convenient.

Changed review
Great concept. A pain to put on and take off. Spills easily and just not good for my kiddo or I

Not worth it
This item does not fit most cups. And it’s super hard to stretch over the rim of cups. Would not buy again.

Great for no spills
Best stretch ever. Don’t have to fumble around for all the parts and pieces to my cover of my tumblers. Easy clean. I put my dishwasher

Not truly leakproof
I wanted to love these. I really did. The top itself does not leak. The air hole is too small. If you enlarge it, then you make a hole where the liquid can leak out. However, the seal is so tight that all anyone has to do is apply pressure to the top and the air pressure inside the cup sends the liquid straight up the straw and all over the surface of the cup and the surface the cup is sitting on. Plus, the straws aren't very long (max 6 inches) so you have to use a short cup. It took my less than 2 years old granddaughter 10 minutes to find out she could make liquid shoot up the straw. Luckily, it was only water.
