Convenient, discreet, easy to use.
This was super easy to use to catch my letdown on the opposite breast while my baby was nursing. I got an extra ounce in about 15 minutes without having to pump. Unlike Haakaas which are super uncomfortable and borderline painful for me to use, plus I aren't discreet at all, this fit in my bra and I can wear it anywhere, even out of the house. I would recommend this to anyone who is breastfeeding as an easy way to catch just a little extra here and there to increase your stash.

So easy
I tried a haaka with my first child and even if I could get the suction right, the moment I moved (let alone the moment she moved) it lost suction. I could never get more than a half ounce. It took a few tries to master but I'm able to attach the Curve with one hand - it helps that I can suction it on and then adjust my nursing bra. This is perfect for midnight nursings for me - the baby usually only takes one side per session and I can get almost a full pumping amount on the left over side if I use the Curve.I'm not a fan of pumping both sides at the same time, I find it really uncomfortable. Again I can stick this on the side I'm not pumping and get almost a full pump sessions worth. If I really want to drain that side, I'll just pump for five minutes at the end of the session.Granted I've maxed out at about 4.5 ounces a side. So if you regularly pump more than that it might not have the capacity you need. The little valve can be challenging when you pour out the milk - until you get the hang of it.Cleaning is pretty easy if you have a bottle brush.

Overpriced for what it is
Purchased for road trip to use on one side while nursing on the other. Baby is 7 months. Left on during and for 1 hour after feed and had 5-6 drops of milk in total. Sitting in the car, I had to readjust and reattach multiple times, but easy to use. Used around house a few times while nursing other side and had less than half an ounce. For $50 I wanted to love this thing. Compared to the cost of the Haakaa, this thing is significantly overpriced for what it is . Its much more discreet and not as bulky, which was why I stopped using the Haakaa. Would have been more useful at the earlier months when milk supply is ample. For me, I never had an oversupply and never leaked or had a significant letdown on the other side while nursing. An electric pump with stronger suction works better. If you have an oversupply, or letdown easily, I'd go with a cheaper silicone brand and save the $. You don't need the name brand and fancy packaging, which is what you're paying for. Plus they never go on sale. Its easy to clean, however when drying, water pools into the "release" button and can never fully dry. I had to shake out multiple times while on drying rack to shake out water that accumulated inside and spend an extra 15 seconds balancing it to drain properly. Not a deal breaker, but for $50 that stands out to me. Comes in two pieces. The white outer skeleton is unnecessary and adds to the weight. (Probably useful if you fill up the cup, which never happened with me.)Going back, I would have invested in cups for my electric pump instead. (Like Freemie etc. )

Good product, wish I would have ordered it sooner!!
Had this in my cart forever I kept putting it off thinking it wouldn’t work well for me since I had gotten the Hakka on my registry and it hadn’t worked for me. Not the case the elvie did great I didn’t even realize I had expressed that much milk until I took it off to check. Also didn’t have to worry about my son kicking it off since it fits so nice in my bra.

Not a great alternative to the Haakaa.
I used the Haakaa nearly daily with my first born and I loved it. Once she was about 7 months+ it became increasingly hard to ensure she didn't kick it off, so I would have to be a little more diligent about removing it as it filled up. So once I was pregnant again I was so excited to see this product (new to the market at the time), and I purchased immediately. However, now that I am using these products regularly again I have a few complaints about the Elvie Curve.1. It is discreet and fits well in your bra, but it does NOT have the suction that a Haakaa has. Nor the storage, in my opinion.2. It's much harder for me to get set up with this with adequate suction that it is with the Haakaa. It could be that I have more practice with the Haakaa and therefore I am faster at it, but still... not a lot of time to get situated when you have a hungry baby waiting to eat.3. I have not found it easy to get all of my milk out of the curve when I'm done using it. There's always some left behind and I think the way you have to pour it out is a little odd... I'm always worried I am going to spill.4. This thing is a pain to clean. Very hard to maneuver a brush around and I've had to go back and re-clean multiple times because I didn't get the outer edges well enough. Again, adding more time to a process that was way easier with Haakaa.5. Cost- this item is significantly more expensive than Haakaa and the Haakaa can frequently be found on sale for additional savings. All in all I still much prefer the Haakaa to this product and I will continue to recommend it to my mom friends over this product. This is a great product in theory but it doesn't hold a candle to the reliability and ease of use of the Haakaa. I hope they can continue to improve this product for future users!

Works better when I take the frame off before use
It's a really comfortable, hands-free, pump that I can just apply and forget about it. No noise, no constant handling (just a push here and there to reapply suction as it fades). It worked really well when I used it without the plastic frame-- not sure what's going on with the frame, but it was interfering somehow. Perfect for convenience and I like the capacity, portability, and comfort.
