one packet of Adolph's meat marinade will marinade 1 to 2 1/2 lbs of meat. I researched it on Amazon and a pack of 8 runs around $20. And you can by one pack at a time but it may be more costly per pckg. Adolph's may seem high priced, but I can tell you from experience that it's well worth the cost. The taste and the tenderness of your meat after using the Adolph's brand of meat marinade well it's just worth the extra the price. To prepare your meat just pound it with a meat tenderizing utensil or if you don't have one just use a fork to poke holes into the meat, that way it can soak up the marinade and get tender. If you want to use the marinade when you cook your meat, make sure to leave some out in a container. Any marinade on the raw meat is to be drained off prior to cooking. If you use a baggy like a ziploc it's so easy to just put the meat and marinade in it and place in your frig. I've found that the marinade thickens up and you can turn the meat around to marinade all sides without a mess. Then just drain off the marinade from the meat, discard it, and you're good to go grilling or however you want to cook your meat. I'm sorry about the extra information but I just couldn't stop myself from talking about it. We use to buy it by the 20 packets price and use it all summer; it's so great for grilling! What is the difference between Adloph's Original Meat Tenderizing Marinade and Adolph's Marinade in Minutes Original Meat Marinade?

I think it has to be the time involved with the Original. The Marinade in Minutes literally takes just minutes to marinate and tenderize. But, I have used the Marinate in Minutes. Good luck, you should enjoy the Minutes.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

I've bought the big pack of this for the 40+ years we've been married--wouldn't be without it. One of us likes ribeyes and I like sirloin--I get a bigger steak (for a couple of meals) and I prefer not having all that fat. This works fast--I think if you marinated your meat in it all day, you'd be pouring it out by the time you made dinner. Love the flavor and the ease of prep. I used to find it locally but haven't seen it for years.

A marinade that will make a leather jacket tender and delicious

Don't let the generic "MEAT" label and visions of the Third Reich scare you off. This marinade has natural ingredients and is almost completely foolproof. I use it on everything from the most expensive tomahawk ribeye to the cheapest chuck steak in the manager's special section. In all seriousness, Adolph's Meat marinade will make a leather jacket tender and delicious.I stumbled on this product about 10 years ago in a local store and after trying dozens of other types of marinades, this one quickly became my go-to for roasting or grilling beef.Then came what I've come to call The Great Consolidation. Around 2017, grocery stores started greatly paring down their stock to only include the house brand and a small collection of brands owned by a single company for any given item. I lost dozens of staple items during this trend. I was very lucky that the company that bought up Adolph's was still making it even if I had to turn to Amazon and buy in bulk to get it.And if you're listening, Lawry's/McCormick, you can change the branding, but please don't stop making this marinade.

Excellent Marinade

We use this Marinade for grilling chicken. Great flavor. We have been unable to get at Market.Every single time I serve these moist, flavorful chicken tenders that have been marinated in Adolph's Meat Marinade, I am asked for the recipe.
