Q: Can use this product as a food covering for oven cooking?

Yes, it's pure #321 American stainless steel I would, however, recommend you clean the material before using with any food products.

Q: Can this be used for cooking?

I'm not sure if the #321 is food grade stainless steel. I have mill certificates as to the chemical makeup the stainless steel itself, but without knowing what kind of materials the mill uses to process the foil its hard to know. With all that said, I think the safe answer is no. However, I personally use it to cook with. After washing it with some dish detergent, I have found "for me", it works great on the BBQ and baking in the oven. Since the foil can take a direct flame it makes a great tortilla warmer-right on the stove (a little bending and folding required).

Q: Can this be cut with regular scissors? Is it magnetic? Could it be glued to the glass front of a cabinet? Are the edges sharp?

Yes it can be cut with scissors. I recommend heavy duty scissors. No it's not magnetic. Yes you can glue it on anything you want. Remember, it's a foil so putting crease marks or ripples is pretty easy to do. Yes the edges are sharp. The material is .002" thick so after cutting there will be a wicked edge that will cut you if you're not careful.

Max Temp for type #321 is 2000F.

This is super thin, super light and can be a component in a firewall solution. I'm using it as the top layer of a sandwich: ceramic kiln paper + Teknofabrica + the tool wrap.
