Best Coconut products on the market!
This is by far the best coconut milk on the market! 1) “Simple” version is just coconut and filtered water, without guar gum or other nasty additives, 2) oil and water separates, giving you options for recipes rewound oil, cream, milk or water. Easily blends with an immersion blender to a smooth, creamy consistency. I love it for superfood drinks, added to my coffee to get the MCTs, oil for cooking, and the pieces remaining in the can go directly to my hands as a wonderful moisturizer. Coconut oil heals the skin, reduces cholesterol (but not down to unsafe levels), detoxifies, overall healthy power food. Nature’s Forest is clearly the front runner.

very likely contains guar gum or an additive. Many other reviews complained too
oh man. I wish I read the reviews that this potentially had guar gum. I don't know if this is purposefully negligent or not. Several other reviews, by people who are very sensitive to guar gum, said this potentially had guar gum. I, too, am very sensitive to guar gum, and had a symptom immediately.I'll talk about my experience first, and then at the end I'll summarize the reviews from other people who also found this probably had guar gum.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------MY EXPERIENCEfirst positive thing I'll note is that the coconut cream separated from the water when it was in a cold environment for several days (the house got cold, around 40 degrees fahrenheit). For this reason, perhaps there was no guar gum/additive.However, let me describe what happened that caused a sensitive reaction from me. I had two cans of this stuff. I tried this coconut milk over two days. The first day, I had broccoli, Thai Kitchen red curry, this coconut milk, and salmon. A few hours later, I had the reaction where I slept for 3.5 hours only a couple hours after eating. This NEVER happens. It's always always something wrong with what I ate.The second day, I reduced the variables. I ONLY had this coconut milk and some 96% fat meat. A few hours later, 3.5 hours AGAIN.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------DUE DILIGENCE FROM READING THE REVIEWSI learned a valuable lesson. I will ALWAYS look at the reviews and pay careful attention to anybody who claimed this had an allergy. The most important thing to takeaway is that there were NO "allergic" reviews of good brand like Thai Kitchen Unsweetened Coconut Milk. NONE of the reviews talked about guar gum allergy reaction. Meanwhile, there's like 7 reviews for Nature Forest saying an ALLERGIC reaction to guar gum. This should tell you there is something seriously wrong with Nature Forest if Thai Kitchen is able to have ZERO negative reviews pertaining to an allergy.Next, comparing the number of reviews. Thai Kitchen had WAY more reviews than Native Forest. Specifically Thai Kitchen's "2 simple ingredient" brand had 1624 reviews, while Native Forest's Simple Flavor had 3377 reviews! So both brands had large number of reviews. One brand had a few reviewers complaining about the guar gum allergy, while the other brand was totally clean. Hm! Something's really wrong with Native Forest!Next, click on 1-star reviews for both brands and search for "guar". Thai Kitchen turned up only ONE result, and it was not about a guar allergy. Native Forest turned up NINETEEN results (for both their Classic and Simple brands), but TEN results for their Simple brand. Reminder that their Simple brand is claimed to have no guar, while the Classic brand has guar. I should really quote those reviews in full here for guar allergic people. I'll just state the headlines though: they are chilling and scary by themselves. I really wish I read the reviews!!!!!!* Additive / guar gum warning. `Does not behave like other 'no guar gum' coconut milks. Definitely has some sort of emulsifier.`* Has guar gum or some other additive - does not separate when cold. `I am highly skeptical of this product not having guar gum as it claims`* I really believe this has guar gum or some other emulsifier in itHere's a link for people who want to do more research. Hopefully it'll still work by the time you're reading this: https://www.amazon.com/product-reviews/B011LVDECM/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_paging_btm_prev_1?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&reviewerType=all_reviews&pageNumber=1&filterByKeyword=guar#reviews-filter-barThis one's for Thai Kitchen: https://www.amazon.com/product-reviews/B07ZW8WFP6/ref=acr_dpx_hist_1?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&reviewerType=all_reviews#reviews-filter-barConclusion: at least I learned how to do due diligence on a product, even if it says it claims to NOT have an ingredient. Always read the reviews, and check for any reviews from people sensitive/allergic to the ingredient!!!

Needs protection
This is a good product. Unfortunately, the price of a case has gone up. The package arrived with the inner box broken and one of the cans badly dented.

Creamy Without Guar Gum
I was looking for no guar gum coconut milk due to health reasons for myself and my toddler, and was ready for the taste to be sacrificed. But actually it wasn’t. I drink it with my coffee and use a whisker to blend it. (It’s supposed to have separate solid pieces - you just blend it.) I thought the consistency was even creamier than the brand I used to use that has guar gum. And it works great with my daughter’s millet porridge. And of course, the best part is it only contains coconut.

Still my brand source for coconut milk
(Wondering why I received this email again to rate (update) this product?, but O.K.) I continue to purchase it and I have found it to be a "thicker", creamier product now compared to its thinness for a while. Made me wonder if it was being diluted in processing for a while which then brought thoughts of stretching the product, yet customers paying the same cost for a slightly lesser product. Maybe that was not the reason for it being more watery --- it has better consistency now in more recent shipments, so I appreciate it. Still don`t find it with the solid part in the can contents with the very thin opaque milky part under the solid part. That doesn`t happen anymore, so wonder if the product itself gets changed in some way to keep it all inclusive as a creamy liquid (no separation). Would be interested to understand that more -- what happens in processing. Is anything added or something to keep it all blended in itself and isn`t on the label.

Our favorite!
We love this coconut milk! It’s 100% clean ingredients and a great bulk price (better than I’ve seen in the stores). I would highly recommend!
