I purchased two eleven fin radiators at a reduced price with the aim of reducing fuel costs at home. This is my first time using oil filled radiators and found the packaging to be robust and no nonsense and part of which can be recycled or repurposed. The casters were easily fitted and great to move around particularly as this model is very heavy. I first placed the radiators in two separate rooms at full temperature. They were quick to heat up but, I was at first disappointed with the level of heat until it occurred to me to relocate the radiators to a more central position in the rooms to allow the heat to circulate evenly. Very impressed and intend to purchase a third radiator for my hallway. I can not yet comment on the actual running costs of these items except that it cheaper than gas central heating most of which escaping out of my windows and the added bonus with these types of heaters is that they remain warm after being switched off.Thank you 😊

well packaged. Arrived on time. Large, has to be wiped down before use. Easy to set up and you can hear the oil moving in the radiator. Easy to move as the castors move easy and fluidity. The operational system is easy to navigate. The thermostat and heating level switches are large and laid out in large enough print so easy to work. Heats up the room pretty quickly. Well made, never used the timer so don't know how well that works but can't fault the mechanics, I would recommend

Good bit of kit, does not get excessively hot so ideal for multiple uses, heating element warms oil and then cuts out on a regular basis so saving money.Do not expect this item to keep your living room hot in winter, as it does not get red hot, more like halfway between warm and hot.Still works well takes off the chill and warms the room and looks nice.

I purchased my heater at the end of October and, like other purchasers have found if you read the reviews, it started leaking in January. It left a pool of clear liquid underneath it and drips around the front base where the cable exits. Russell Hobbs customer service told me that it was the protective film covering the heater which was coming off (apparently as it should), and the appliance just needed a wipe down with a rag. At no point had I ever felt the appliance needed a wipe down. Over a number of e-mails which included my photos, they refused to believe the heater is faulty and possibly dangerous and won't replace it or give me my money back, ultimately saying I must now go back to the retailer. I'm not sure why a heater which appears to shed a 'protective coating' into an oily puddle which could leave a carpet stain (luckily mine was on a laminate flooring and then I've since sat it on kitchen roll) is acceptable anyway?It's a shame because it was quiet and effective for its size and cost, but dealing with Customer Services is slow and tedious and ultimately I hit a brick wall. Be warned.

Nice compact size, I use in bathroom to keep the chill off and help with condensation, makes a huge difference.

This is fairly decent, but only for a very small room. Think porch or toilet. If you're looking to heat up anything much bigger, you need a bigger and more powerful heating. This is only 1500k so more energy saving, but it isn't enough to heat a bedroom when it's winter. I use it to heat a small bedroom as I work from home, to save heating the whole house all day, and it just keeps the chill off.

I like this heater a lot. I've previously used fan heaters, and it's always made me nervous as they use a lot of electricity and can be dangerous, especially as they're so cheaply made nowadays and lack safety features than used to come as default.This felt like an investment by comparison, but it's one I'm glad I made. It hardly costs anything to run, and it's safe. I can walk away from it for a few hours at a time and not worry. The only negative I would say about it is it takes hours to warm up a whole room by itself, so it's not very effective if you need a quick blast, but the heat it does produce lasts a lot longer than a fan heater. I find it's best for prolonging heat, so I'll put the main heating on in the morning then this heater means it doesn't have to go on again and it'll keep me toasty at my desk all day.It also feels very sturdy in construction, and I don't feel like it's going to need to be replaced after a year of use. I feel it was well worth my money.
