This is a decent reel for someone looking to clean up their setup a little. It's not as heavy duty as if like it to be but for the price difference between the next better reel Cox offers its okay. If I were going to use it daily I would definitely purchase the next size up. UPDATED - This reel leaks gas at the swivel after a couple of uses. For the amount of money this unit costs I would at least expects quality connection. They sure didn't spend any money on the reel itself. Personal opinion, if it leaks it's scrap iron. Gas is too high to have leaks.

When the reel arrived it had a broken plastic part where the hose reel connects to hoses leading to the bottles. The only thing that locks the hose reel from turning while driving is a cheap plastic friction lock that constantly fails causing the hose to drag across sandy ROW's and down the highway. The way they have it setup on arrival causes the hoses to role up uneven, and it looks dumb. The only thing good about this reel is nobody will steal it of the back of my rig because of how ugly it is, and most pipeliners know they suck. I needed the reel as soon as it arrived so was in a pinch, and didn't have time to return it. My recommendation to anyone, especially pipeliners, is to buy a tidweld hose reel they are a 1000X better, and only cost around 100 bucks more. This thing is pure junk.

Purchased 7/2018. It was always a pain to roll up my torch, thought it would break in over time. Today it just seized.Being somewhat handy as a rig welder, I Drilled out pop-rivets connecting reel to frame to get a better look. Nope, still seized.I checked their website to see what warranty info was, says something about sending a written notice of defect and the product being untampered with. NOT worth my time, I’ll just buy another reel and not a COXREEL.

Awesome reel and packs a ton of hose in a relatively small footprint. I bought this reel with damaged packaging from Amazon at a discount and have been pretty happy with it and have no complaints about the reel or quality. I have this reel inside one of my lower boxes on my service truck and so far it's exactly what your expect it to be.

This reel broke and called the manufacturer for warranty parts and they stated that there is no warranty and minimum order for parts was $200.00

Reel must of bin dropped hard was damaged on delivery. Other then that works fine.
