Pilot Multi-Pen Body, Hi-Tec-C Coleto 1000, Black Body (LHKC-1SC-B)

I’m a fountain pen person, but sometimes my planning system needs something else, or I need to take a lot of quick notes at a meeting. When a fountain pen won’t do, the Coleto Hi-Tec-C pen is my favorite pen by far. I love the slim profile, the matte black body, the metal clip, the ability to completely make it my own with a multitude of colorful refills, and the smooth, vibrant ink.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! The fact that this pencil uses full size ink and the number of different refills makes this a great option as an everyday pencil.The only negative is the top flip cap is easily broken. Need to figure out how to make it more durable.

I've owned 3 of these pens over the last 2yrs now, primarily because the plastic hinge on top breaks easily. I use my Hi-Tec-C Coleto 1000 nearly daily, its a go-to pen for my workflow. carry it in my bag, sits on my desk ready to use, great in a mtg when I want to keep tabs on pro-cons in diff colors. Writes smooth & consistently (which is saying something coming from me, a fountain pen guy); it's lightweight & balanced in hand. The versatility of options is great for any user, though I only use a 4-color ink setup. I have two reasons to give this ONLY a 4-star review: the top hinge breaks easily (ie, one drop from my desk was all it took) and I wish the ink refills had a bit more ink for the price charged. Again, I'm a "most days" user and I find myself changing inks (esp. dark blue & blk) out about every 2 months. Said positively, this pen would get a 5star review if: (1) metal body, casing and (2) larger capacity ink refills. Otherwise, if you're looking for a non-ballpoint or gel ink multi-pen, here it is, get this one. Just don't drop it or bang it around, & budget for refills more often than you'd like if you use it often.

The holder itself is not faulty in any way opens and closes fine. I like the feel of the plastic and it writes quick. Feels comfortable due to the anodized like finish even though it is hard. The pen tips feel great only thing I would talk about is how the pen tips angle due to being pushed through from the side causing the pen to be writing at a more acute angle than it should be at times and aesthetic discomfort.

Great multi-color pen. I have owned several of these (bought my first one when visiting Japan a few years ago) and I really enjoy them. They are nice and slim for having four colors of ink, and one can buy a variety of colors and widths of ink, which is a big plus. If there is one shortcoming (quite minor) it is that the ink does not last as long as larger cartridges do, so buy a few extra replacement ink cartridges!

These pen bodies are really sorry sleek and stylish. There more durable than the 5 color bodies and fit into my pen holder easier. I'd like to see it in more colors (like Rose Gold or even emerald green).

The product listing states that it comes with blue, black, pink ink and it does not. I have not been able to use it it is incorrectly listed.

These are the best multi color gel ink pens I have found. The customization of colors is great, the availability of ultra fine tip refills is great. The only negative is the lightweight plastic body, which feels cheap. If this had a metal body it would be perfect.
