A great way to keep them entertained and thinking!
The media could not be loaded. We have two Australian cattle dog mixes that are very smart and require a lot of interaction. This toy is a nice addition to our repertoire of puzzle and food toys, and they've really enjoyed playing with it. The neat thing is that despite them being smart and used to playing games for food, we've really only scratched the surface of the difficulty levels available (level 2, at the moment). The ability to gradually increase the complexity of the game is a really nice feature, and helps keep them engaged and thinking. The toys are well made and solid, with the rocker having some good heft to it. We've been really happy with it so far, and can't wait to see how the dogs are able to progress through the higher difficulty levels. Because our dogs have played with a lot of food toys, they naturally want to try and knock the feeder over to get the food to come out. The suction cups on the bottom help a bit with that, but we've found the best approach is to just put the feeder up on a coffee table out of reach. One of the dogs loves to catch the food out of the air when the kibble is launched from above! Some really nice features:1. It is connected via Wi-Fi, so it can be turned off and on remotely. One of our two dogs has separation anxiety, so we're always looking for ways to keep her engaged and distracted when we're out of the house. The ability to use this while we're out of the house is exciting, especially when paired with the built in camera. We haven't tried it yet, but this is something that isn't even possible with Bluetooth controlled pet feeders that we've tried. The camera is a nice touch too, to be able to keep an eye on the dogs while you're out of the house.2. Through the regular updates to the rocker and feeder, things are constantly being refined, and new features are even being added. We had bought the original version of the PupPod, and were beta testers during the development of this version, and it is remarkable just how many new features have been added, many of them directly addressing some ideas or issues that we had. This was all done through software updates, so the feeder itself was the same. That kind of continued support and development is really valuable.

If it works, it’s just okay
Price is relative to the person buying it so I will leave that out.Strictly speaking on the product, something that allows the user to watch and treat a pet while not at home. When the product actually works… video is lagged by 3-5 seconds, toy works about 60-70% of the time. So when things work I would give it a 3 star.Issues:video-is always lagged and works about 2 out of every 5 times. Typically a hard reset of the device or a reset of your router will work. The problem for us is we can’t hard reset the device when we aren’t home so it’s a waste.Toy- no volume adjustment… either too loud if you are right next to it or not loud enough for the dogs to care if it’s in a different room.Overall- would not buy and would not recommend. It is basically a $200 toy for when you are home with your dog. Also it should be said that we have a separate 2.4ghz WiFi network as well as a combined 5/2.4 ghz network. We ran this on the stand alone network and the combined with the same issues on both. All of what WiFi networks can be reset remotely, that is to say we eliminated our WiFi network being the issue. PupPod is the problem, shows available on the app but will not work.

My dog loves this after almost a year...
I wanted to wait to write this review to make sure my dog was still interested in the PupPod after a year. Except for his loyal tennis ball, this toy has absolutely been his favorite! We fill it with his normal kibble, and he seems to like to play with it mostly in the afternoons, or evenings especially when I am making dinner. He taps the toy unit to let me know to “turn it on” and then proceeds to play for at least an hour on and off. I like that the toy shuts off after 30 minutes of no activity.A little bit about our dog, he is an 11 lb, 5-year-old male Havanese. It was super easy to get him interested in the PupPod when it first arrived. We started with small training treats and then a mixture of his normal kibble and then only kibble. It is amazing, to see how much continued interest our dog has with this toy! We move the toy to different locations to give him variety. Every time he hears the “click” his tail wags and he runs to the treat dispenser to get a few pieces of kibble.Typically, our dog is a picky eater and doesn’t gobble up his food. But with this toy he seems to enjoy mealtime and gets some exercise, and stimulation to boot! I also like when we are not home, I can check in on him with the camera view in the app; an added bonus from my perspective. All in all, this has proven to be a worthwhile toy that has made dog ownership easier especially in the afternoons and evenings!

Great product for the little puppers!
Amazing feeder and rocker. The sensitivity on the rocker is fantastic so it reacts to even the lightest touches (at least on level 1 as they learn how to use it).Build quality is great and the feeder throws the treats out about 1metre (off a kitchen bench) which means the game is nicely contained.Camera quality is also pretty good.
