Seaweed Oil-Control Gel Cream – For Combination & Oily Skin – Hydrates, Balances & Mattifies – Vegan – 1.7 oz

I have been on the hunt for a mattifying lotion that gives just the right amount of moisture. I have acne and oily combo skin and this keeps me smooth and matte in a natural way for up to 16 hours. It even holds up in the south Florida heat and humidity, though it is winter now. I suspect in summer it will need to be reapplied more often. The only thing I wish it had was SPF! It would truly be a miracle product with SPF. I originally bought this as a night lotion but it works just as well as a daytime lotion. I plan on buying this product again when I run out.

This is hands down the best moisturizer I have ever used. I went and saw a dermatologist that recommended a cream that is oil free for my skin type. I recently began getting acne, in my mid twenties, and paired with extremely dry skin, managing it can become difficult. This is one of the only affordable oil free face moisturizers out there. I have dry skin all year round, especially in the winter. I have been using this cream for 6 months now, paired with a couple acne treatments, and my skin is not dry like it has previously been. Almost no dryness. I would definitely recommend this product for those of us with extremely dry skin that makes putting makeup on in the winter difficult!

Its a great mattifying lotion. It's not very moisturizing for me. Have to apply it twice a day.

Really excited about this! I've been using The Body Shop Tea Tree face moisturizer which has been good for controlling oil, but I feel like this product is better at moisturizing. It's non-greasy, lightweight and makes my face feel refreshed! Goes on great under makeup and a little bit goes a long way. I may still use the Tea Tree product for my t-zone, but the Seaweed cream seems to work just as well at leaving me with day-long oil control.

Came on time. It was definitely my SUMMER lotion, not my winter lotion. It does not offer a lot of moisturizing... But it was something rather than nothing. It was definitely mattifying! That's why i loved it, so i wouldn't look shiny when i went out.

This works for me in conjunction with another product. I have super oil skin and I dont wear makeup, so the cleaner my skin the oilier it appears. I like the lightness of this moisturizer to control my oil. I use it after I have used my toner and essence. After applying this cream I follow it up with an oil-free moisturizer from Clinique. So far I have been getting that matte finish that I have been longing for!

Goes on smooth, easily absorbed and NOT greasy feeling! Especially in the summer when I tend toward the oily side, this is my go to moisturizer. Clean scent. Happy customer:)

I’ve been purchasing this item direct from the body shop and it takes over a week to get to me and is more expensive. Worth us to buy from Amazon!! Less expensive and get it within a day or two. Great quality product for people with oily skin

Great product hence 5 star review. However wished I'd have bought from the Body shop online store as I would have saved myself £12 Amazon was £30 and Bodyshop online was £18.

Ich habe dieses System schon lange benutzt, dann allerdings mal aufgehört, weil das Waschgel immer nicht zu kriegen war. Allgemein bin ich sehr zufrieden damit. Im Moment wirkt bei mir allerdings kaum etwas. Habe jetzt diverse Mittelchen ausprobiert, meine Haut bleibt einfach eine Problemhaut. Ich bin übrigens schon 53, und viele Hersteller bieten für "alte Haut" ja gar keine Mischhaut- oder Pickelartikel mehr an. Also, bin noch auf der Suche. Die Seaweed-Artikel sind immer noch die besten für mich.

1. Jar had no seal/sticker of any sort... 2. Jar was atmost half-full. This leads me to believe that this is a used product
