My wife and I both use wedges for sleep at home. When holiday travel approached, I wondered how I would be able to sleep away from home without my foam wedge. A friend suggested I look for an inflatable one. Found this ObboMed one which is the same size as my foam one. Also purchased the inexpensive foot pump (although I used my hands) to air it up. Inflated easily and quickly. We left them aired up the entire week of the visit and slept like babies. Perfect size, comfortable, did not slide around, and DID NOT LOSE AIR. I don't understand the reviews where the complaint was air loss. I wear 300lbs, and mine did not lose air at all over 7 nights. Deflated easily for folding to take up less space in suitcase. Loved it! It will be traveling with me always.

Essentially the pillow did what I wanted - provided a slanted surface to prevent my husband from snoring. The pillow surface is a bit stiff and makes a noise, so had to be covered with a towel and then a soft pillow on top. It also should not be inflated fully or it is too thick at the narrow end to be comfortable - but this is easy to fix. It is very easy to inflate and deflate quickly, and can be folded small to fit in a side pocket of a suitcase. It also held the air well with him sleeping on it - no need to inflate every day. I would buy again, but wish it was less "crunchy" sounding.

I used this wedge pillow for a two week trip, inflating and deflating six times. I inflated it only partially for use (softer and less noisy), and deflated it carefully, matching the original folds to put it in a storage bag. Folding it properly takes longer than inflating it, but is probably necessary to minimize the stress of folding and transport.I'm only 140 pounds (64 kg); a heavier person might overstress it, especially if it is inflated to hard stiffness.The felt-like surface is comfortable, but I use it with a hotel towel on top; skin oils can damage plastic, and the towel absorbs perspiration and allows skin to "breath".The plastic is softer and less fragile than I feared, but it is plastic. I expect it will age, get brittle, and break eventually; all soft plastics do that. I will probably buy another in a year or two after a few more trips, but this one helped me sleep, doesn't take up much room in a suitcase (padded with used laundry), and was $24 well spent.

Works as advertised. Can be difficult to inflate with the type of valve it has. Otherwise I would have given it one more star for travel. Not the most comfortable thing to sleep on but it does work better than just a pile of pillow. Not sure if I would buy again but it is easier to haul around than foam wedges.

I got the ObboMed HR-7690 extra-long wide pillow. It started great, provided the rise, and was sturdy, wide, and comfortable. However, it started leaking within three weeks. I have no idea where the leak occurred; it didn't seem to be at the air valve. It is completely useless now. Well, $50 down the drain.

I travel a lot and I have slight vertigo and reflux so I need to sleep on a wedge pillow and I knew I could not always bring my foam wedge pillow (as it would take up the whole suitcase) so I thought I would give this one a shot. I was so pleasantly surprised and like it more than my foam wedge. It feels more natural and better than a lot of pillows for me. This inflates easily with the hand/foot pump and is so very comfortable. I inflate on the day I arrive and do not have to refill the entire week. I don't use the deflate valve as I find it easier to just roll it like a sleeping bag and the air expels easily, and because it's rolled/folded tightly is easily transportable in my suitcase taking up no room. This product is an A+ in my book.

Our bed at home is adjustable with the head and feet that raise & lower. My husband and I found it helps tremendously with snoring and with his breathing. I was concerned about travelling out of state with a friend and sharing a room and maybe keeping her awake so I ordered this pillow. I took 2 with me on the trip and they fit perfectly into my suitcase. They were fairly easy to blow up by mouth once I got the hang of the nozzle (even though I tend to get short of breath it wasn't a problem). Worked like a charm. They're made from a strong material with a brushed finish so if I came in contact with it during the night it didn't feel cold or sticky.

We purchased a memory foam wedge at Amazon, and found it to be so successful in improving sleep, that we wanted to find a portable equivalent to take on trips. We also bought the pump to inflate this,which makes inflation much easier. It holds the inflated shape well. The wedge is almost the same angle and height as the memory foam wedge, but it is a little narrower. Its soft cover is comfortable to sleep on, but we found that draping a light towel, or perhaps wrapping it with a small sheet, makes it a better experience. When deflated, this is easy to pack, and it deflates quickly. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that needs a slightly elevated position to sleep well, and the only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars was because of the slightly narrower width.
