I think this is one of the best on Amir Khusro's poetry. Thanks to Amazonwho provide us to find such wonderful books.

These are lovely translations of Khusrau's poems which retain something of their lyricism as well as their depth. A very good introduction, covering his life and some background to the work. The best book on Khusrau around right now for the western reader who does not read Persian or Hindustani.

If you are a lover of Sufi Masters and iconic disciples like Ameer Khusrow then you can explore more as I felt that translations lacked emotional connect .....however it's a good read for historical insight in the old Mughal times.

Peaceful and sweet words, we can't even expect less from saints like Hazrat Amir Khusrau رحمه الله, 😍 excellent translation and well. A lot more to thank.

Translation is effective and flow seems preserved with delicacy. I wish the fonts were slightly bigger and usage of better paper stock.

Although the book gives an overview of the work, translation doesn't stir a poetry lover. And many good work is missing.
