Works great for more natural one-on-one video calls!
This thing is solid and strong, much better than I had expected. Bonus that it came with two of them.On a video call with one other person, if you look at the person on your screen, to them it looks like you're looking away. But if you stare at your webcam, they feel like you're seeing them but you feel like you're looking at a camera. This clamp can improve that.Attach your webcam to the clamp, upside down, then clamp the clamp to your monitor or laptop (careful with "thin bezel" laptops, make sure the clamp isn't clamping onto your actual screen). Now your image will be upside down, which can be fixed in most cases. For example, in the Zoom desktop app, go to Home>Settings (gear icon)>Video. Choose your camera (if not already selected) and in the preview image, click the little button in the upper right corner to rotate the image by 90-degrees a couple times, or until it's right side up. Check or un-check "mirror my video" until it looks normal to you.Now you can angle your webcam down so that the camera now comes down below the top of your screen (see photo). On a video call with one other person, adjust the window so that the person's image is just below the camera. The result is while they won't feel like you're looking *straight* at them, it will look much more natural to them and will feel more natural to you. You don't have to stare at the camera, but if you decide to, your eyes don't need to travel far from their image to the camera. This method doesn't work with more than one person on the video call, because people are spread out all over the screen. In that case, you just gotta switch between looking at the camera (so they feel seen) and at their image (so you feel you can see them). But if most of your video calls are one-on-one, this can help a lot.

Very versatile! Cool options for anything with a standard thread for mounting
I am using one of these clips to mount my webcam to my monitor but the clip the came with it was a bit too bulky for my needs. Luckily, you an disassemble them just but untightening the thumb screwing the middle. After that I just tightened it back as hard as I could and it's perfect! Should work for whatever you need it for.

Too big and bulky for my 13-inch MacBook Pro
I intended to use this on my 13-inch MacBook Pro but returned it as I felt the clamp was just too big for the laptop's thin display.

They work. But...
Ok first and foremost: Yes, they works as stated. They are all metal (except the little grips on the screw. that's plastic) However the grip for the phone was made for those phones from about 5 years ago. The My Motorola 5G Stylus almost maxes it out. That, and the jaws of the grip are shallow. It WILL NOT hold a phone with an Otterbox on it. I have to take my Oteerbox off before I can clip it into the grip. With the case on, it slips right out. The one other little issue is that the ball-joints are smooth, and the meatal arm that grips it is smooth. So you have to really torque it down tight to hole a heavy phone. (My Moto is quite heavy with it's big battery) But it will work for what I need it for. No issues at all with slipping out for vertical photos. and it holds just fine for video. (Since video is supposed to be HORIZONTAL anyway, it can't slip out when videoing, if you take videos in the correct, HORIZONTAL position and not vertical like a snap-tik-twit Video is horizontal, people. Horizontal ONLY!) So these are really great for HORIZONTAL mounting for video. Yes it does hold it vertical for PHOTOS too.It has two ways to connect the grip. On the end of the grip, or by the middle. so it's very configurable. Plus you get TWO of these things. This is not suitable for a bike, or a dash mount. It's not THAT stable. These are fine for clipping the phone to something for some pix or vids, then moving on.

Very Creative Accessory for WebCams and Phones!
As an IT Professional usually working from home office, I found that sitting my webcam in the typical center top of monitor (on top of monitor, basically) just wasn't working for me. I grabbed this item to resolve that issue. What a hit! I got a an order where it came 2 to a package. Love the phone holder and often use it right off the side of my monitor with Samsung DEX going. I've been able to reposition and focus the webcam, making my streaming experiences better, which is very important for someone with video mtgs 2 or more times a week. Material is good and solid and no issues with loss of grip, loose joints or anything like that. I use an Anker PowerConf C300 with this. Won't go wrong picking up this item!

Industrial Strength Clamp
The clamp was very difficult for me to open wide enough to put on anything.I would never have attached it to anything electronic (iPad, tablet, mirror, or monitor) because of the potential for damage from the pressure of the clamp. The all metal clamp did fit my iPhone and would have been very durable, secure, and effective. However, due to the strength of the clamp, it just doesn’t fit the purpose for which I needed a phone holder.I will be returning it.

Good grip, standard mounting thread
I took off the included phone clamp and put on an active cooling unit (also Amazon, $20). The mount is a standard 1/4" threaded camera mount, so you can attach anything. This clamped to a vertical support on my desk keeps the phone easily accessible but out of the way while I'm working. It's got a great padded grip, and the all-metal design is good and sturdy. The jaws are nice and wide. It can also act as a tabletop stand.

Clamped!!
This clamp works great for holding my iPhone in my car. Didn't like the fact that with other clamps its mounted inside air vent. Not an option! I like this one.. very flexible. I also like the fact that I got an additional one for my tripod! Will work great for SpaceX shoots and a variety of landscape, seascape and others.

Slippery
I found that with the weight of a phone, connecting this to a bass guitar, the ball quickly slips and is therefore useless. If you're using it for something more stable or short term, it might do better.

Awesome
Good grip, have wide enough range to clip onto the pole of my monitor stand. I like that they come with the mobile phone attachment but they can also accommodate a webcam/camera mount. I was looking for an inexpensive option to easily move my phone and webcam from sitting to standing desk position.
