Very good product - should be a must for everyone!
I get lab work done quite regular - not just hormone wise but general health with a PCP. There is an amino acid Homocysteine which is never tested and very few labs across the nation are able to test for this during lab work. I would suggest to look it up and understand the long term damage that it can cause. Mine was 9 for several months and I started taking this product. I've been taking it for the last 3 to 4 months on the regular. I just had lab work done and it came down to 8. Essentially, this is allowing me to have a healthier life style with a long term benefit. I didn't think it was going to work, I was skeptical. I was wrong - it's an excellent product. If I can get it come down a little more that's even better. Talk to your doctor about this amino acid....

Manufacturer changed the formulation between Jun and Oct 2018
Update Oct 2018:I had intended to upgrade my review to 5 stars because after using the product for 2 months my homocysteine levels had dropped from 15 to 9, which is impressive. However, I just received my next 2 month supply and noticed that the formulation has completely changed. Since I am a scientist and work in the regulated space (medical devices), I'm always extremely wary of supplement formulation changes. Supplement companies are mostly unregulated and basically free to put whatever they want in their products without justification or formally notifying customers. The first thing I noticed was that the product had a lighter color. In comparing the two formulas' ingredient lists, I saw that they significantly reduced Vitamins B-2 and B-6, seemingly increased the Folate even though it appears to be in a different form, increased the TMG, and eliminated serine, choline, and zinc. Considering the product was working for me, and judging from the reviews, for many others as well, why change the formula?I saw that the manufacturer casually mentioned this formulation change in the Q&A section, but their response is insufficient, in my opinion. I am giving the product a 1-star review until the manufacturer issues a transparent statement regarding the formulation change in the product description. This is an expensive supplement that many people take for specific medical reasons, and I'm currently unconvinced that the formulation change was anything more than a cost savings initiative by the manufacturer.Aug 2018:I purchased this product because my doctor told me it's supposed to help reduce my homocysteine level. We'll see if it actually worked in my next blood test.As for product quality, I noticed that some capsules appeared to have clumped / unhomogenized powder, and some in which the powder appear to have even melted or mixed with water and recrystallized along the side of the capsule. Some capsules were also broken, which released free powder in the container. With that said, there seem to be some manufacturing issues / inconsistencies, even though they claim to abide by GMP manufacturing regulations.

Good product!
Fairly difficult to evaluate how well supplements work because they aren't "pharmaceuticals" so you rarely see immediate and dramatic results, and that's as it should be. The most significant improvement over my previous Metagenics Vessel Care brand is that these are gelcaps instead of tablets. The Vessel Care tablets are very hygroscopic and I had to store them separately from other supplements to keep them from disintegrating over a short time (a few days). Even then, the last of a bottle of 60 tabs would be falling apart even when stored tightly sealed with silica gel packets. Rather inconvenient. This product gets around that problem very nicely.

Bribble reviews Methylation Protect...
So far so good. I can tell a difference and much less expensive than the previous product I was getting from Thorne. Same exact effects. The ONLY small little complaint I have is that its the same white bottle that ALL my supplements are in and wish manufacturers would start putting better creativity in the packaging as i makes a huge difference...

Effective supplement at a good price
These vitamins are effective. My doctor recommended that I take a Methylation Support supplement for B vitamins and find a form of Folate that was not folic acid. This product really does the job. I cannot believe how much better I feel and how much better I'm sleeping. Thanks for making a reasonably priced, quality product.UPDATE:Appreciate knowing that the formula has been improved recently. Thanks!

I'm really happy with the quality and cost of this product
I'm really happy with the quality and cost of this product. I have methylation impairment, and it's very challenging to find a methylfolate complex that's affordable but good quality. I previously took a supplement by Thorne Research but just couldn't afford it. In searching for a replacement I couldn't find a supplement that had similar specs without all the extra unnecessary ingredients. This supplement has just the capsule ingredients. Overall I'm very satisfied so far.
