Works Fine...
The Factory Keys that came with the Honda are almost impossible to open to replace the battery and I destroyed one trying to do so. Bought this one and had it cut (not cheap) to fit. So far, so good. Now the problem was to program the Fob to the car. ehhhhhhhh.... turns out you have to re-program ALL the keys. Figuring that if it CAN go wrong it WILL I worked around the issue by taking the remote module out of the old (destroyed) key housing and installing it into the new key with a new battery. SHAZAM. Worked fine.

Does not work as advertized.
This product does not work as advertised. The vendor claims that it can easily be programmed. That is true for operating the door locks. They failed to mention that the product must be programmed by a locksmith in order for the key to actually start the car. I contacted the vendor and they agreed that it needed to be programmed by a locksmith or the auto dealer. I would not have purchased this had I known this restriction. I asked for my money back and got a blank stare

Works good!
Took the key to batteries plus and they cut it for $10.80. Easy to program the FOB, but you need an immobilizer scan tool to program the transponder chip, or dealer/locksmith. I did it myself with an X-tool D8, but thats another $800 scan tool.

What a SHOCKER!!
I bought this for my brother who only had the valet key for a 2006 CRV. We had done the research of getting a replacement key. Went to a Honda Dealership and there was no way we were going to nearly pay $300+ for a key??!! We went on Amazon and we're looking endlessly for a replacement key and there's not too many sellers selling replacement keys for a 2006 CRV. Mostly you'll find ate replacement keys for a Honda Accord. We took a chance to try out this seller hoping for the best with a seller with no reviews. My brother received the product and immediately went to program the key which you can DIY from watching YouTube videos. My brother called me back and told me “IT WORKS!!”. I haven't seen the replacement key, but my brother attests it's a quality build!! Feels sturdy. He says the metal insert to go into the ignition is not sure of the quality of the material? He will let me know when he gets it cut. Hopefully it will surprise us once again. Now he can drive the CRV. You know...sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith and this seller just earned a 5 star review!!

Don't work
This key did not work for me it was every tight in the ignition it doesn't even fit in the door or glove box cylinder, I don't even trust it to get it program. Keep thinking it would suck either putting in the ignition or taken it out
