We really like the Earthly Body brand of oil, but it is not widely available on Amazon in the scents or sizes we like. We decided to give this one a try as we were in a pinch and didn't have a ton of time. There were so many to choose from, but this one kept popping up. A few important factors to us are: 1. Leakproof. We do not want a bottle of massage oil dripping our drawers, overnight bags, etc! For this reason, we avoided the kind that has a pump. We noticed that many with pumps had poor reviews for leakage. 2. Smell. I don't want to smell like peppermint. I am an avid essential oil user, and familiar with the therapeutic benefits of essential oils. I know that cinnamon and peppermint are meant to awaken and stir up the senses. I do not want this when I am trying to relax and get a nice massage. I simply want to be relaxed. For this reason, we went with a calming, and milder scent. The scent is not overpowering, but it's very pleasant. 3. Size. We normally buy 8oz sizes, and I am wary of larger sizes because to me bigger sometimes = less quality. I was wary of the reasonable price and 16oz size, but this oil did not disappoint. So far we are very happy with our purchase.

Great product, just what my wife and I were looking for. Worked as described, my wife especially liked the subtle lavender scent and not sticky when dry. Not going into detail about how we used it; however we both enjoyed it- 'a lot', lol.

This was a gift. The recipient loves the aroma and the feel of this product. Works very well. Will purchase again.

I love the scent of the lavender & use it after a shower & before bed it helps me sleep & moisturizes the skin. I also purchased the vanilla I truly love these massage oils. They are wonderful for massages too. I highly recommend them. I also have the cinnamon but haven't really used it yet but I'm sure I will love it too

Wife had an operation and we use this lotion to massage the muscles impacted by the operation. This is my second purchase...and there will be a third purchase once this container is done. The lavendar scent is very nice, not overpowering.

This is my favorite massage oil, ever! It’s very silky and rubs all the way into your skin with no greasy residue. The lavender smell is not overpowering like a lot of other lavender based products. It has just the right amount of light floral notes. I live in the dry, hot Sonoran Desert and I have used this in place of lotion. It kept my skin moisturized for the day, and made my legs glow! Highly recommend.

Scent was wonderful, not to strong. Rubs in evenly and quickly! Not too oily, doesn’t stain! Was exactly what I wanted! May order more in a different scent.

Lavender Massage Oil It's just an okay massage oil. What little lavender scent there is does not last and I find the consistency of the oil to be a little thin. I would not purchase this brand again.
