This was my first experience with Pan Pastels, but I'm a professional artist. I used this on Strathmore bristol, and I'm very happy. I've applied with the Sofft tools made by the company that makes Pan Pastels, and I've also used brushes. This product goes on smoothly and is very forgiving. I absolutely will continue using Pan Pastels!
