I got this just so I could read my ebooks in the tub stress free. I was not expecting a lot of function. I was very surprised to not only have full function but to be able to type with wet hands and water on the screen. No worries about having to use the phone in the rain or text in the tub.Oh yeah this is awesome. Get it and some bubble bath..

This case is not at all waterproof. Went for a jog with it in my raincoat. It never got submerged, just in a raincoat pocket that got damp. This "waterproof" case did not even begin to protect it in the raincoat pocket to the point that my phone might be a goner. And yes, I read the directions and put it on correctly.

I tested it right from the get go. Ran it under tap like in video after enclosing and no issues. Make sure that seal is tight, takes some pressure to seal. Only downside is audio is lowered when installed likely due to water tight case. Definitely worth the money.

This case is as durable on the sides as any other, but the front and back feel poorly fitted. No matter how closely you follow the (sparse) instructions, the screen protector bows outward, creating a bubble that makes my screen almost unusable from certain angles. I have to push harder with my thumbs, straight on, like on an old phone with a physical keyboard. Not good for swiping at all.The transparent cover on the back is slippery and quickly gets fouled and scratched up so it looks really bad.It includes a narrow black lanyard on addition to the hideous yellow thing. Lanyard charms for phones totally should make a comeback, but I doubt anybody wants this giant macaroni on their wrist. A floating phone case should float of its own design, not come with a detachable buoy.EDIT: I dropped it from waist height and not only did the back separate, but the screen protector got a deep gouge in it and the corner where it landed is all caved in, so it's not even decent at its primary job.

I honestly have no idea how this case has positive reviews, it has this flimsy, weak, thin plastic sheet over the screen that doesn't sit well on the screen. The instructions it comes with mention a screw that does not exist on this case, and it's *almost* water proof, but not quite. It's more accurately water resistant (which the a52 already has an IP68 rating) I can't return it because I don't want to be without a case but I'm already shopping for a new one.

The last waterproof case I bought, was also soundproof! I could barely hear a word from a phone conversation. This case is easy to carry, easily use your tough screen and hear your conversations!

Purchased this case as am concerned about IP67/68 issues and the possible exceptions to IP67/68 of Water-with-Force such as showers or heavy rain. Read the case's Sound Disclaimer about Opening The Charging Port should there be volume issues, but even with the Port closed people appear to have no issues hearing me and I can hear them. The disclaimer about charging cables not being able to fit in the charging port seems unnecessary as it looks wide enough.Unsure if this is 100% waterproof as there are small holes (lanyard?) in the case on top and bottom. Put electrical tape over the two holes on top since rain would be coming from above not below. Hope to find a decent phone holster for a layered defense against rain, but every vertical holster I've seen has a Stylishly Thin flap which leaves the outer edges exposed to rain. Installation on the A52 was simple with the two pieces snapping together. Plastic cover does smudge, but better dirty plastic than a dirty phone. Will also look into small resealable plastic bags as an extra extra defense against rain.

I got this case for my sister who is mental challenged and after reading the reviews i tried and and just love it. she is able to handle the phone with ease no dropping and easy to use through case and keep the phone so well protected.
