So many uses!
I love hydrocolloid bandages and use them for lots of different things. I initially bought the small circle ones made for acne, but a pack of 12 small patches costs more than the big pack of 6x6 bandages. You can definitely make your own pimple patches with these and use them, helps clear it up overnight. I also discovered they treat ingrown hairs in a night or two. I bought these big ones because I heard some people having success with using them on suborn eczema. The spot of eczema I’ve been dealing with has been bothering me for over a year now, and nothing has gotten rid of it. I wanted to try a hydrocolloid bandage but none of the ones in store were big enough to fit the spot. Found the 6x6 on Amazon and tonight’s the first night I’m attempting to use it. Had no problem getting it to stick and stay to the area, even with eczema cream applied beforehand. Not exactly sure if it will improve the area but it’s worth a shot, at the very least it keeps my from touching/itching the area and making it worse. Regular bandages and even larger wound ones haven’t been working because the area is in such a tricky spot, they usually end up falling off in a few hours. Hopefully I’ll have better luck with this. It’ll be interesting to see if this makes any difference. If not, like I said these would be great for making your own patches from acne or ingrown hairs. I could also see this being a great use for wounds (like burns, road rash, etc) that are difficult to shower with.

Performs as a hydro-colloid bandage should
These do what they are supposed to and work as they should. The adhesive is good and stick for several days as it should.I couldn't give it 5 starts because I bought it to use as a barrier between the skin and the adhesive attached to a medical device that causes an allergic skin irritation on my child. Many other who have reacted to the med devices have found that another brand of hydro-colloid bandage (most have used j&J Touch pads) directly on the skin eliminates the allergic reaction for them or their children. Honestly tough pads are really pretty pricey becaue they are sold in boxes of only 4 small pads, so i've not bought them yet.Unfortunately, we found the Dynarex Dynaderm has caused to the same reaction for our son. I have no idea if there is a similar ingredient between the Dynaderm adhesives and the med device adhesive, or if my child is reacting to 2 different ingredients, but this product didn't help with the issue we are tarting to solve.I am finding other great uses for the bandages and they really work great on skin sores and abrasions for the rest of out family, but this brand did not work for the intended purpose.I have since purchased another brand of Hydrocolloid (DuoDerm) and have used them under the medical device adhesive. They have made a night and day difference for my child. I had tried cutting a hole in the new brand for the needle, but missed the spot. The only area of skin that rashed up this time, was the area under the cut hole where some of the medical device adhesive would have reached his skin. It's a shame these did not work for us.

Excellent for both wound healing & DIY acne patches
The Dynaderm x-thin patches work extremely well for a three categories of injuries/wounds: a) blisters & superficial cuts that benefit from the occlusive barrier provided by the hydrocolloid bandage; 2) chronic wounds that heal best under moist wound conditions; and 3) acne spots where the hydrocolloid acts as a sponge which helps reduce inflammation and speed up healing. The Dynaderm x-thin material is perfect for all three categories -- you can easily cut the bandage down to the desired size and a little goes a long way! One 6x6 bandage can easily last for a full month if you're using it primarily to make acne spot bandages, for example, or for 2-3 weeks if you're using it to fashion blister patches during peak running season.Either way, hydrocolloids are a must-have item any medicine cabinet and I love the price/functionality of this particular brand.

Very effective, will always have this at home now
I had road rash from a fall and used this for 4 weeks as my wounds healed. The results were AMAZING. Healing was so fast, I had no problem with adhesion even on my hip where the the fit was harder and had a lot of movement. It was waterproof and allowed me to shower without discomfort. 100% recommend and will always have these on hand for scrapes and burns from now on. I’ve also cut the sheets down for pimples overnight and it really helped speed up the clearing process. Best value for your money.
