Ive played baseball going on 30+ years now, so when my friend son was starting tball this year and she came to me for help. Franklin has been around baseball for as long as i can remember. They aren't a high end sports equipment company but thats not what he needed for tball, so this franklin glove was perfect. It's soft enough he can easily open and close it and durable enough to withstand being tossed around by kids. Value for the money, you cant beat it. Great first glove for a kid that you're not 100% positive they are going to be a die hard ball player.

Great glove for my 7 year old son. He loves the color and he loves playing catch with me after he comes home from school or when I get finished with work. He’s a lefty and it’s great to find a rare left handed glove.After a season of Fall Ball, the glove is starting to tear a little bit and the seams are coming loose. I couldn't really expect much for a $15 glove so I won't knock it down too much but I'm bringing it down from a 5 to a 4 star because of it. If you don't know yet if your kid will like playing baseball this is a good glove to start with. If they do indeed want to keep playing then I would advise you get another glove. But again, for $15 this is a good trial glove.

Great size for little hands. My two year old wants to learn how to play and this glove fit him perfectly. The ball is also not hard. Very squishy so it very easy for him to pick up and hold in the glove.

Bought this for my daughter, who's 3. We started groundballs in the park and it's the perfect size for her. She has since started up with t-ball and the glove still looks great. Didn't really need to be broken in or anything. She's growing so fast - I can't imagine buying a more expensive glove to get started. Glad I found this one.
