Works great! but I felt a little misled
I've had it for about a week and it's been amazing to not sweep anymore. I thought this robot vacuum came with a mop piece already built-in or separately attached, but in actuality, despite all the pictures showing the mopping feature, you have to purchase a separate mop tank and pads.

Worked well when it worked- updated
I had never owned a robotic vacuum before buying this on sale. I live on a mini-farm with several indoor pets as well, so hair is a big issue around here. Even though we don't wear shoes in the house, have mostly tile flooring, and sweep daily, the floors are never as clean as I would like. I was very excited to get some "help" in this endeavor, though I certainly didn't expect a miracle world where I never swept or mopped again.Out of the box this item was hugely frustrating. Setup was overly complicated, manual was useless and it took hours to try to connect it to the internet. (Two of the people I live with are computer engineers, so this was not a case of being challenged by tech.) Once it was finally set up, it worked pretty well- for 4 days. After that point, when told to run a cycle, the unit would work for 4-7 minutes, turn itself in circles, then return to its base. The battery was fully charged, I meticulously cleaned all the sensors, rebooted the unit, nada. It just wouldn't work.My reasoning for giving this one star review however, was not only the issues with the unit but the fact that when I contacted customer service about these issues their response was hugely disappointing. I explained the problem with the run times and they responded that they knew about this issue, would fix it on future models and encouraged me to return the item. This tells me they are knowingly selling defective units and just don't care. (Hoping they don't go kamikaze until after the 30-day return window?)I'm still kind of frustrated by the hours I lost to this thing, but there is a bright side. Those precious few days where the unit worked showed me that I could indeed use a sweeping robot friend, and I ordered a model by a different company the same day I returned this unit. That one (was on sale at roughly the same price point as this) is made by Eufy, works consistently beautifully, and we will live happily ever after (or at least until I can afford a self-emptying model).Update- The company reached out to me and stated that the information I had been given by an intern at their company was incorrect, and that there is a support team available for issues with the product. To their credit, they asked what they could do to rectify the situation, but seeing as how I already returned the vacuum and am quite happy with the model I bought to replace it, I have no desire to try this one again. Upping the stars on this review as their customer service was what I was initially most upset about.

Way better than my Roomba i7
I recently sold my Roomba i7. It was just so LOUD that I couldnβt run it while in the room. It was also very eradic even with mapping technologyMy sister owned this one, and I loved how well it cleaned while still being quiet. After owning, I found that the mapping technology is much smarter than my Roomba ever was. Itβs very quiet but cleans just as well. It doesnβt just ram into walls/furniture and slows down when approaching. It also remembers furniture and realizes foreign objects without remapping all the time. The bin is MUCH larger. The mop attachment is really neat. All for 1/3 the price!

I also own a shark robot
I love how much this robot picks up. We have 6 cats and it helps with the hair! We also have a shark ion robot and I have to say this iHome has WAY better suction! The cleaning time is A LOT longer than the shark! This is a GREAT robot vacuum

Gamechanger, I stopped vacuuming and sweeping
Despite living in a new building, I have never encountered this level of dust. If I dust in the morning, by the evening time there is dust on every single service, especially the floor. To help me with this never ending chore, I got two air filters, and while that helped significantly, I still would need to sweep at least every other day.I ordered this Ihome based on the reviews and also....I wasn't ready to spend $500+ on a robot vacuum yet. I am so glad I tried this vacuum!I love how thorough it is in cleaning, the multiple cleaning intensities and settings, and how easy it is to empty. I love that it returns to the dock on its own! It is also considered a "smart" robot, so I can use the app to set a cleaning schedule, manually direct the vacuum, and connect it to Alexa.Couple of things to note. First, I do have to run the vacuum multiple times to get everything cleaned (to my very particular standards). Luckily, it's easy to set this up in the app. I have it set up to do a general cleaning and then corner cleaning and together it takes about an hour for my entire apartment.Second, I also noticed that the mapping the robot does got better with time. Now I don't know if that due to system updates or the vacuum memorizing my apartment, but it did get "smarter" after the first few uses. It even navigates under my couch and between my chairs now within minimal issues.Third, the suction is a little too good sometimes. I actually had to move and elevate every single cord in the house, as the vacuum would "eat" it and then shutdown. On the other hand, this vacuum is also powerful and smart enough to recognize carpet and change the intensity, which I love.If you are thinking about getting a robot vacuum, but don't want to spend $$$ on one of the more widely recognized vacuums, you should definitely give this one a try. Just a note, this did not come with the mop attachment, so don't expect it to be included in this price.
